more u take ideas from other discipline more u dilute the autonomy of the core subject...if u make it fully interdisciplinary, whether the thought is sociological or anthropological or economical is difficult to determine...that is the risk in making the approach inter-disciplinary...subjects also need to protect their turf...

How Political Behaviour can't be entirely value free for the observer ? because the observer, unknowingly, observe and analyze behaviours of other from his own cultural perspectives...suppose a strict vegetarian observe sacrifice rituals of a group, he may tk it as an barbaric custom ...and like this

I think society and ethics also plays major part in comparative politics(at society/class level if we see), hence i think it's not just statistical data approach. With more emerging society problems(like division) maybe in future Comparative politics will become very wide that it might loose essence ?
