I didn't seek out conversion therapy. I sought out medical transition, and got conversion therapy shoved in my face. I kept showing up because I had no other way of getting access to medical transition. It felt like being held at gunpoint.

The fact they have to have completely different explanations for why gay/straight trans people transition where we can explain our own gengers in a way that's consistent for any gender or sexual orientation says something about whose perspective is more credible.
