That auto tune bit in the beginning was hilarious
The way this podcast is mixed and panned is crazy when someone talks the sound is panned to where they are.
by FAR!!! the best educator out there, when it comes to the recording & mixing craft! LOVE Joe! -- if you have a chance, sign up for his workshops, worth every penny!!!
Waited long time for this Part 2!!!!
Another great interview!
thank you for another lesson guys
Pensado your questions were in the pocket ! Thanks for this interview guys ,Herb you're great too bro!
Evil Joe killed that batters box, great and inspiring interview. Thank you all.
Thank you Dave, Joe & Herb! =)
hah that transition to the batter's box was hella smooth
Awesome!
I'm just now seeing my name called as a winner! I don't remember seeing an email! I checked all my spam folders as well. Is there directions on how to claim prize? Thank you ! BTW It's Patron like tequila ;) Love the show and wish I saw the episode sooner! Just now catching up.
cool ass dude great interview learned alot!
🔥🔥🙏🏽🙏🏽
1:17 is funny
FTG!!! Hail Barresi!!!!!
R.I.P BUSBEE!
lmao the autotune part
"greta van fleet sounds like led zeppelin"
you say that like it's a good thing.....
It is insofar as preservation of a sound/vibe. That was his point.
Rock isn't dead, it's alive but striving. Not like it used to be back in its heyday before the social engineering took over to change music until it wasn't music but beatnik platitudes with twerking.
Have you seen the wealth of mathcore bands these days?
There's one after another.
Joe's talking about Roland's D-Beam,

Great interview with Joe! Dave you kept it real and Herb you moderated extraordinaire as usual!
mathcore? where's the mathcore today?
the last good mathcore band broke up in 2002.
@@billyalarie929 There's a lot of them. If the only band you're referring to is "the" band, that is your opinion and you need to open your mind.
Check out Dream State:

Veil Of Maya, Periphery, Breaking Benjamin.
Dave and Herb, love y'all to the max but to the abyss with Auto-tune.

HAHAHAHHA
Fm auto tune suxs
I just want to hear him talk about the process with slipknot nobody cares about tool 😱🤦♂️🤡
Engineer, producer, and mixer who doesn't notice speaker distortion in the new Tool album. Lame. The album is too loud!
Think you missed the point bud.
When are you going to stop taking these interviews that are less than an hour long and split them into 2 parts? If it was 3 hours I would still expect it to be in one video, the fact you take something less than an hour long and split it into 2 is just stupid.
Yep longer interviews would only make sense. Less herb would only make sense.
But we also got Warren Huart with his 3 hour JJP interview that came out a couple days ago. So at least there is one person out there doing the good work :D haha
Warren also doesn't have a suit sidekick that asks suit questions all the time. And he goes to them instead of them going to him. So he does great videos about studio tours too.
