There's nothing wrong with it, it's just more difficult to sell, as German cuisine is less known than Japanese for example. It's the same with Hungarian and Polish dishes. Asian cuisine is more popular, so I often modify our dishes to make it easier to sell. It's a bit like when Toyota couldn't sell their luxury cars, so they came up with Lexus, and voilà, success 👌😅👍
❤great video and delicious looking food! Thanks for sharing and giving us your time!!as always blessings to you and Mrs.T and your team! Have a wonderful weekend ❤
Nice! Quite funny about people thinking it contained fruit... here in NZ "Kiwi" is both the national bird of NZ (and it's an endangered species, you definitely can't eat them!), and we (the people) are "kiwis"! We would call the fruit "kiwifruit".
Hey… love watching your days work Mr T…. I thought a frikadelle was Dutch from the Netherlands, imported by the Indonesian immigrants over the last several hundred years. Maybe I’m wrong. It’s a great dish wherever it comes from .
Well, it's sad, but true. You can sell the same dish with slight modification, call it a different, more popular cuisine, and it will sell much easier 👌😀👍
@@MrT2022 I used to have an Italian colleague at work. His wife loves to bake and he brought in some Pizzicati's (pinch cookies with jam inside) she made. People were hesitant to try one until he told them that there's jam inside.

Everything BUT beetroot. It's something about the taste of dirt. I've had them prepped and cooked correctly. Just never liked them, along with radishes.
@@joannaazar7396 to me, it has a earthy, dirt taste. I find it as one of those root veggies that either you love it or hate. That's my opinion. By all means though, try it and try them different ways.
is the worker who asked for the Kiwi burger the one who ordered at 17:50? He seemed properly excited for it... and the Aussie burger having pineapple on it? Not sure how I feel about that.
If you fry off the pineapple a little and get a bit of a browned, caramelised colour just on the surface, it cuts back the tartness of the pineapple slice a lot. Aussie here, pineapple on hamburgers since birth pretty much.
@@wazza-au would roasting it like what he did with the beets be an option? I'm not against the idea of pineapple on a burger I'm just now sure how you'd go about getting the best flavor profile
Can I make a recommendation? I’m from Texas. beef fajitas, a Mexican street corn salad, Mexican rice and refried beans/side of corn tortillas. Guacamole and salsa goes great with this!
If if you do a food challenge see if you can invite a special guest - Leah Shutkever. She is one of the top female competitive eaters in the UK.
