Glad to see an Elzetta product! I have a blue Elzetta Bones model. Single output high only and it's the only model they make that uses 18650 batteries. It has a very odd square hotspot from the shape of the led. 🔦
You can run your Surefire G2X also on a single rechargable 16650. They fit and work great! The Nextorch E51C is high - medium - low and maybe also an option. Always starts on high.
An FYI about CR123a batteries. All US made CR123a batteries are made by panasonic. Streamlight, Surefire, Panasonic, Battery station, etc branded ones are all the same batteries with a different wrapper.
Really enjoy your reviews. You see the potential in all of them. You're to blame for my collection of Weltools and I need to thank you. Also enjoy my Ntiecore P23i. It's great having a variety to rotate your carry options. I think I'm set for flashlights for a while. God a couple more nice knives lately and enjoy them too.
@@flashlightcrazy That is impossible. The 16650 has 3,7V while two CR123 have 6V. I also have used a 16650 on an older 320 lumen G2X and a newer 600 l version. Also you can read it in many comments and forums.
Thank you mate! I really appreciate that comment. Sometimes I doubt myself, so it is very nice to hear that I seem to be producing some ok content from time to time. Thanks again mate
Awesome video, and I truly love all your videos. Can you list all the potted lite heads that Weltool makes? I know you have most of them and please include any LEP ones if they have any. Im on the fence for a LEP and LED high thrower from them. Thanks
Im about to get me a weltool t17 thanks to this video i have a green g2x and love it but sometimes when i sit at my desk or to drive it will come on not click on but sodt press on in my pocket i love my surefires but in the alst year have been trying different ones
Love your reviews! You need to try the new nitecore mt2c pro. Very compact, just high and low mode, shrouded tail cap and high candela. Think you would like it 👍🏼
When I worked in LEO (up to a few years ago) I preferred the Surefire G2x with 16650s and the Streamlight Polytac 18650 - For a few reasons - I preferred the grip of the poly-material and the grip pattern. I would not cry if I lost one or if it ended up in a bio bag. A lot of aftermarket support for both lights because they are so old and kind of a tried and true LEO/Security/EMS light. Nowadays though I would go for the Weltool though but if I was still in LEO I would go for the Surefire still.
Great info on the comparisons but I believe your measurements are off. Weltool for example: Size (±0.5mm): (head diameter) 31mm, (body diameter) 24mm, (length) 131.5mm
Is Weltool made in China? I am looking for a High/Low mode flashlight or Low/High mode ... Only this two modes ... Cus I'm doing CQB tactics so yea .. that works... Weltool seems good but seems to have Too many modes?
elzetta real drawback is that plastic lens which keep cracking wether is the heat or pressure they keep cracking specially the charlie body and last time i dealt with elzetta i had to request refund simply because never receive my item i dont dare order anything from them no more i think they collapse along many company because of covid
Some lights are just too expensive...You're not getting any more reliability by paying $200 more over some other low priced options... Although I'd like to see a review on the Modlite Hog
Even before Elzetta, Malkoff already makin' LED modules for Maglites, then next P60 LED modules for Surefires, then Elzetta adapted his M60 modules, after that Malkoff already made his own line of lights.
Just ordered the Weltool T17 based on your videos, very excited to try it!
you will love it
@@flashlightcrazyI have had the light for a couple of days now and love it! Thanks for the recommendation and keep up the videos!

and thats why you should buy surefire ones because they look cooler and help support an amazing company over its predatory competitors
😂 lmao I'll buy whichever is cheapest bro @@bigfrank2959

Thanks mate! Really love the support. Thanks for watching
Good review. For my needs: 1. Elzetta 2 Malkoff 3. Weltool 4. Surefire
Nice man, thank you for your lineup. LOVE IT
You can use a keeppower 16650 with the surefire been using them for years
That is so weird. I tried that with one of my surefire lights and it destroyed the electronics and it stopped working

Ive learnt to use Vapcell rechargeable 16650 to replace 2x CR123
I run a 16650 in my Surefire no prob.
Incredible review. And its Elzetta for me,
By the way I hope to see your insights about the Armytek Tactical flashlights. Thank you.
Thanks mate!! Thanks for watching
sweeet cant wait to see how that all perform
You are an excellent reviewer! 🎉

I saw in another one of your videos how hard it is to get modlites in AUS, but now they have the multimode PLHv2 and OKW heads.
Yeah they look cool

If i remember correctly Elsetta uses a different blen of aluminum alloy
Hey, those Thrym clips would fit onto Weltool T2?
No they don't unfortunately
That’s why Elzetta is king

whining about the price of surefire flashlights means you have a micropenis.
Malkoff started working at Elzetta first then he left and created his own brand fun fact

Too unreliable mate. The flickering was too much for me to handle. They need to fix their QC issues
@@flashlightcrazydid you have flickering issues with all your Cloud lights? I’ve definitely experienced that with my MCH 2.0 DF HC
