Yeah, as an ex 11-year Costco employee who worked at the door, I'm gonna say the "run into Costco and the cops can't catch you" thing wouldn't work. You could just as easily tell them "I'm going to the pharmacy" and they legally can't stop you.

Be careful "stretching the truth" on your resume. An employer can use a lie as reason to fire you.
In many states like Maryland, they have “at will employment “ wherein an employee may be hired or fired for any reason or no reason at all, fair or not, there’s no wrongful termination except in extreme cases of discrimination based on sex, race, religion, etc. your employment may be terminated at any time without warning. So it really makes no difference. As an employee you have the same ability- to leave a job without notice for any reason.

I have done the gym one when I was homeless, also if you have a basket of clothes with you, you can sleep in a 24 hour laundromat and be able to say that you accidentally fell asleep on your car. Most of the time they will not bother you at all for months.

I was a smartass as a kid. One uhhh... I guess you could call it an unethical life hack I did was my mom refused to let me play videogames until the garbage was taken out. I went to take it out, the bag broke halfway and I went back inside. I didn't play videogames anymore like she said but my sister went and picked up all the garbage off the floor and took it the rest of the way. My mom didn't specify WHO had to take it out.

my work's generally pretty okay when it comes to me calling in sick, perhaps because I rarely call in sick. I feel bad when I call in sick though so this Wednesday was the first day I've called in sick this year and the day prior I had off and was vomiting a dozen or more times. Reason why I feel bad is because they can't just call somebody to come in, since there's me, the full-time guy who they can't call in because they'd be paying him overtime, 3 other part-time people(one of which is on light duty right now, and another is off on injury for awhile because he broke his leg), and the guy who's restricted where he only works 4 hours per week on Tuesday.
Sounds to me like Your Employer needs to change at least one of those part time employees to a full time Employee. They save a ton of money not paying benefits, etc., by continuing to use part time employees over full time employees.
Don’t fall for the trick of feeling bad for taking the time off that You need to take in order for You to get well.
Your Employer is ultimately a business and business do not care about employees as people, they only care about profits. If You were sick or injured and could no longer do Your job, and it began cutting into their profits, Your Employer would hire a replacement for you quicker than You could say Wow!
Always put You & Your career and finances 1st over an Employer. Jobs come and go, but You can not step out of living Your life, meeting Your bills, meeting rent to have somewhere to live, etc..and in the end, the only one You can rely on is You! Good Luck!

Ok as the bosses stepson for a pool building business I will say that one reason we pay families more than single people, is based off of skill yes, but also the fact the one with a family has 2-4 more meals each meal to buy than a single person

Did you know if cops do open your mail and they do find something in it than it doesnt matter if they were allowed to open it or not they still can arrest you. In fact if they find you trying to do this that can be used in court against you :)
