Also I would just like to say!! ☝ As someone who grew up "ugly" & only started experiencing pretty privilege after I started wearing makeup, I used to be so insecure without it....I was thinking about this while uploading this video and idk when exactly this changed, but I've grown to be a lot more confident these past 6 years on RUclips thanks to everyone's kindness and support (´。• ᵕ •。`) ♡ I hope I can be someone who helps you feel pretty all the time too
I’m so glad that as a follower, we’re able to cheer you on and make you feel comfortable in your skin. I love that you share fashion ootds too because you shared that you had body dysmorphia so I’m also glad that we get to see your cute style and outfits ❤
I have a really difficult time taking care of myself sometimes. I grew up with a family that is very lazy and doesn’t stress the importance of self care. Hearing the story about your mom inspired me to do the same with my future kids so they grow up enjoying self care and it doesn’t feel like a chore
Oh my god. I doubt I have ever seen someone be so dedicated to removing make-up. I am speechless and so inspired. I think I will have to reevaluate my nighttime skincare routine and be even more serious with it. Thank you for this video. You are amazing and I subscribed right away! ❤🌻
Actually, I have been searching for a get unready with me on your channel last night. And now.. God answered my inner thoughts HAHAHAH thank you for this !! ++ can I just say that this is the most detailed get unready with me
hello jessica, i just wanted to tell you that you inspire me so much and you’re a great role model for me. ive gotten to learn so much about myself and find myself through makeup and your videos 💕
this was so awesome but i cant help but notice how pretty your makeup looks as well! THE COLORS JUST GO SO WELL!! please do a makeup tutorial for the makeup as well! thank youu xxx
aHHHHHHHHH THIS IS SO SATISFYING AND SOOTHING AT THE SAME TIME !! I LOVE HOW THIS IS VERY DETAILED AS MUCH AS U DO WITH UR GRWMs, I LEARNED A LOT THANK U SWEETHEART !!
This was so comforting and calm to watch! But I could never take that much time 😂 I am trying to get my makeup off as fast as possible at the end of the day. I’ll take it slow if I’m doing a little pamper session! ❤
I feel like i would much rather deal with dry skin than oily skin 😮💨 Loved watching this video btw, makes me want to invest in better makeup removing products as well as better makeup removing habits 🤌🏼💖
ok im just a newbie with doing a complete eye makeup look with alll the liner, eye shadow and mascara and i was clueless on how to properly remove it at the end of the day bc it feels like there still a little bit left behind so this is so helpful!
I really loved this video, I feel like it could really change my skin quality as I realize while I’ve actually been focusing so much on hydrating my skin I’ve actually never changed how I remove makeup in 4+ years😮 maybe it’s time to look for some new makeup removers/cleansers!!
This is an amazing routine! I think it's great that you put so much time into making sure your skin is healthy and happy. That's a great way to practice self-care that I've never even thought of! I really wish I could do this too, sadly atm I am a broke college student haha 😭 but you go girl! What you're doing is great for wellness and it's very inspiring and such an important part of wearing makeup. Blessings
thank you for letting us get unready with u, sis 🎀 this is truly inspiring me to take care of my skin everyday 💗 btw can i ask what type of towel do you use after washing face please 😭 i often use tissues or sometimes cotton pads to wipe my face, is it ok 🥺💕
This came out in a good time! I been thinking of wanting to try a new cleanser! Thanks for sharing! I like these video that you for putting yourself out there and just sharing your process. It really is encouraging
love this, as someone who wears very heavy impossible removal eye makeup😮💨, and having a mom who's also an eye doctor 🥰is this the same routine for your daytime skincare too? (besides the makeup removal)
best thing I do is I always cleanse my face after taking off my makeup, keeping up with the routine makes you enjoy doing makeup 'cause you know you aren't ruining your skin! focus more on the eye makeup is a great tip your eyelashes can hold onto the makeup and it seems clean but it's not
I started wearing, clear mascara and tinted lip balm in 5th grade, eyeshadow and pencil eyeliner only came out on Halloween. I didn't really start getting into makeup until I was in 8th grade and now I'm 20 and going to cosmetology school for hair, skin, nails, and makeup.
I find the hemisphere cleansing balm, though cheaper than most doesn’t remove my waterproof makeup that well without using excessive amounts. I recommend the Banilla Co cleansing balm!! I only need a little to remove all my makeup
I didn't realise you could put sheet masks on after toning and serums! I always thought it was for after cleansing only, but good to know its not!! tyy
You may have chapped lips because you're dehydrated. I used to suffer from chapped lips all the time and nothing helped. I haven't tried Vaseline (because I didn't like the smell). But since I started drinking 1.5 L of water a day my lips have been perfectly smooth. Other skin problems have disappeared as well.
I have a question do you use the sheet mask every day? And also I’m pretty sure you should wash ur face after the mask then do your skin care but your doing amazing!
hi Jessica!! thank you for such a calming video 🥰 I'm also very picky and thorough when removing makeup!! what contact lenses are you wearing? - thank you
Thank you for this video!! It was very informative and relaxing. I have a question regarding oil cleansers. Would a cleansing milk work like an oil cleanser? I’ve heard they’re also good at removing makeup whilst being gentle on the skin, thank you!
Agree about the vaseline tho. It also help my lash grow faster, before this im so addict with lash extension but it makes my ori lash fall out really fast too (well maybe im not good of taking care my lash extension hehe) but believe me guys, apply small amt of vaseline to your lash before sleep is a life changer ;)
Honestly that eye makeup removal technique of combining all the products is soo useful! I hate the feeling of having leftover mascara too but just attacking it with cleansing balm irritates my eyes
I don’t apply anything under the eye. Even with eye cream. I stay and stop at the orbital bone. Why? Because skin care travels lol. I find that I get milia or a film inside my eyes if I apply anything under my eye. But fyi my under eyes are not dry at all lol. My skincare travels and does it job :)
another affordable cleansing oil i like is the kose softymo speeding cleansing oil! i havent tried a cleansing balm more affordable than this one unfortunately 😟 but it also comes in a smaller size for $12
love this video! I'm new to makeup do all the cleansers being near your eye and having to run the qtip around your eye irritate you? I barely wear eyeliner for that reason. Maybe it's something we just get used to?
Hey, micellar water and oil cleansers are usually super gentle on eyes so they don't irritate or hurt at all. Just avoid the micellar water products with witch hazel or any other irritating ingredients in either product
my problem with makeup is almost every base product causes acne, whether it irritates my skin or clog my pores. it’s annoying because after i get my skin to a healthy state, my skin tone will still be uneven so i can’t escape base makeup. do you have any skincare product recs for uneven skin tone and irritated skin?
A lot of the products are so expensiiiive who could afford that in this economy 😭 Regardless, thank you for the video, your care in removing eye makeup is so inspiring!
Hi Jess! Can you review Vietnamese skincare brand Cocoon. They are Dermatologist test, Vegan, Cruelty Free, and full of antioxidants. I really like their Winter Melon sunscreen and Vitamin C 22% Serum.
Also I would just like to say!! ☝ As someone who grew up "ugly" & only started experiencing pretty privilege after I started wearing makeup, I used to be so insecure without it....I was thinking about this while uploading this video and idk when exactly this changed, but I've grown to be a lot more confident these past 6 years on RUclips thanks to everyone's kindness and support (´。• ᵕ •。`) ♡ I hope I can be someone who helps you feel pretty all the time too
i know right, when i stopped wearing makeup they started judging me :(
You were never ugly. I saw the pics and you were just tan. You look the same except for the injections you did in your jaw.
I’m so glad that as a follower, we’re able to cheer you on and make you feel comfortable in your skin. I love that you share fashion ootds too because you shared that you had body dysmorphia so I’m also glad that we get to see your cute style and outfits ❤
Ur the prettiest with or without makeup!! U inspire me sm!!
You are def not ugly at all! If I can have even 1% of your looks, I'd be happy. I look like an ogre 😭
You’re so gentle with yourself that it made me want to start taking my routine seriously
This comment right here!!!
I don’t have a skin care routine ,but this video makes me want to take it to a whole new level.
💕🙏

The way you take really good care of your skin is sooo inspiring Jess!! This video feels so refreshing and healing ✨✨

Oooh I love how you show yourself cleaning your vanity. The mess of removing makeup is so relatable yet I never see it shown in videos 😭
I love her content so much! there’s something about it which is super therapeutic and informative

SO USEFUL. THANK YOU SO MUCH JESSY. I've been struggling with removing makeup that it makes me not wanna wear it.
you are absolutely gorgeous without any makeup
I love and appreciate how detailed this is!
your skin is goals! Really enjoyed this type of content, it was quite relaxing ♥
another tip to add on to what jessica said: not just waterproof makeup, but if you wear sunscreen, you should also be using an oil based cleanser

I literally love this video so much! Your skin is beautiful Jess
You have beautiful flawless skin! Thank you for the video!

love this, as someone who wears very heavy impossible removal eye makeup😮💨, and having a mom who's also an eye doctor 🥰is this the same routine for your daytime skincare too? (besides the makeup removal)
thank u for watching! 🫶 for daytime i use a different toner, serum, no sheet mask, a more lightweight moisturizer, & add SPF 🤓
best thing I do is I always cleanse my face after taking off my makeup, keeping up with the routine makes you enjoy doing makeup 'cause you know you aren't ruining your skin! focus more on the eye makeup is a great tip your eyelashes can hold onto the makeup and it seems clean but it's not

You’re so pretty! I love your voice too. So relaxing
My dream is having a clear skin like this as a teenager 🥺
jess the lip color is absolutely perfect! what product did you use on your lips?
The inspo i needed to get back to pampering myself (more so under true self care bc I’ve been doing just about bare minimum and sometimes less)
i just got a cleansing balm to use with my micellar water. so exciting!
i also have dry sensitive skin & lip peeling habit so this was really helpful! 😄
I really needed this type of makeup! Thank you!😭😭
omg drop the makeup tut it’s so pretty 🤭
Omg, can we get a link for those earrings? They're gorgeous ❤
Wow great detailed video with tips!! I wish I started hydrating earlier in my life 😂 Could we get a hair removal video?
I find the hemisphere cleansing balm, though cheaper than most doesn’t remove my waterproof makeup that well without using excessive amounts. I recommend the Banilla Co cleansing balm!! I only need a little to remove all my makeup
unrelated but I love the lip combo at the beginning of the video :o
I didn't realise you could put sheet masks on after toning and serums! I always thought it was for after cleansing only, but good to know its not!! tyy

I love this! Watching before I start my night routine. Where is the headband from?
You may have chapped lips because you're dehydrated. I used to suffer from chapped lips all the time and nothing helped. I haven't tried Vaseline (because I didn't like the smell). But since I started drinking 1.5 L of water a day my lips have been perfectly smooth. Other skin problems have disappeared as well.
That little mirror on your vanity is so cool! Any chance you can link it?
I have a question do you use the sheet mask every day? And also I’m pretty sure you should wash ur face after the mask then do your skin care but your doing amazing!
you have to try the aquaphor lip repair!! its AMAZING
Wow your videos are so calming, just subscribed! :)
I wish to know the lipstick(s) you used to get the color at the beggining of the video, before you wash your face

Your skin is so jelly-like ✨

do you do this all EVERYTIME you take off your makeup? & out of curiosity - how many days/week do you wear makeup?
yes i do this every time! i wear makeup usually around 4 days/week
this video inspired me to remove my makeup properly today ❤
Thank you for this video!! It was very informative and relaxing. I have a question regarding oil cleansers. Would a cleansing milk work like an oil cleanser? I’ve heard they’re also good at removing makeup whilst being gentle on the skin, thank you!

YESSS ILY ❤❤
Oh my, thank you Jessi ❤
If you don’t mind what contact lenses are you wearing in this video? They’re stunning!
Jessica, please leave a link for the gray headband! 💕🥹🫶🏼
is it okay to mix cleansing balm with micelar water while removing makeup?
Honestly that eye makeup removal technique of combining all the products is soo useful! I hate the feeling of having leftover mascara too but just attacking it with cleansing balm irritates my eyes
Wow thanks for the super in-depth and detailed skincare routine. You make me rethink about mine and it seems like my skin is always so dehydrated :
I don’t apply anything under the eye. Even with eye cream. I stay and stop at the orbital bone. Why? Because skin care travels lol. I find that I get milia or a film inside my eyes if I apply anything under my eye. But fyi my under eyes are not dry at all lol. My skincare travels and does it job :)
It’s a get unready with me video but can I ask about the lips color u use at the beginning of the video please 😂 it’s so beautiful
wait how cool is that mirror??!
Beautiful even without makeup _♡
this was so helpful, thanks sm!
Precise but very easy to follow ^-^👍 what products that are affordable would you recommend for the cleansing oil and balm?
another affordable cleansing oil i like is the kose softymo speeding cleansing oil! i havent tried a cleansing balm more affordable than this one unfortunately 😟 but it also comes in a smaller size for $12
