Laying down some rock drumming with Toontrack's epic sounding new EZ Drummer 3 on my beautiful drum-tec diabolo limited series electronic drum kit 🤩🥁🎸🎸🔥
The camera's were still set up from my last video for @drumtecTV, so I thought it might be nice to see, if I can get EZD3 to work in a dense rock mix easily without fiddling around too much. I think it worked remarkably well :)

I'm in love with my TD17KVX, for some reason I feel like the module or the pads respond very well with my playing, I've been having a blast lately playing it with ezdrummer 3 :D
Mind Blowing as always Ralph keep it up 🔥
Thank you very much Arturo!

I love Ez drummer 3. What really stands out to me his how punchy the tom toms sound and how clear the crash and hi hats sound compared to ez2.
Absolutely, the EZD2 kits sound more processed & "artificial" to me, EZD3 has lots more depth/meat and 3d quality to it in my opinion. Kind regards!
I'm curious about how the drums were recorded. like how you came out of the 17 module and Into the mixer or whatever you plugged into to get the sound to the computer program. I wish there was a video about this subject that really showed every detail about plugging stuff in. and comparing the recording capabilities of the TD27 module to the 50X module. without just saying the obvious that there are more outs on the 50 module. I have been recording allot of cool tracks using pro Logic. but now I want to record a bunch or originals using external instruments including drums. but I am not a highly technical person. but I am hopefully about to buy an electronic kit. and whatever I need to get to go to this next level of recording. and I want to get professional results. but there aren't allot of videos that go over this. and the ones that do always assume you know things that you don't know. so they fly through things that you need to know so they can get to the things they think you need to know. or they say things so fast. like simply go to hear and and then to hear and then click on this. and you find yourself rewinding the video 20 times to try to see where he is moving his mouse to when he is clicking on these things. because he just assumes you already know where certain things are. because technical people are the worst teachers. anyway a video going over every detail of recording drums to a computer program like Pro Logic would be great. showing every little detail of plugging it all in. and the benefits of a 50 module over a 27 module.
Hi Jon, actually there are many tutorials on how to hook up midi output of an e-drum module to your cpu, I did one myself for drum-tec in this exact setting recently:
ruclips.net/video/nPOYxyzc4zs/видео.html
The procedure is actually pretty straight forward / basic setup stuff. Kind regards!
This really rocks mate! Seems i have to switch to toontrack for this killer rock kit. Perhaps a bit off topic but...which in ears do you use for your e-drum monitoring?
Thank you Richard! :) I am using either the Audio-Technica ATH-E70
www.audio-technica.com/de-de/ath-e70
or my customized pair of Vision Ears:
vision-ears.de/
Kind regards!
hey man, how do you record these videos with audio and video capture using EZD3? thanks!
Hi Joel, I am running EZD as a plugin in Logic Pro Audio & record the midi data there. Then I export the audio of my session & sync it to the video footage in Final Cut Pro + editing/colour correction/grading etc to get the final video.
Kind regards!
so whats the expansion your using is it Rock!
Hey Luke, no this is a kit from the core library of EZD3, kind regards!
How do Roland compare to Yamaha in terms of real feel, toys and functions?
Money no object
Can i use ez drummer 3 with cubase 5?
Hey Valentin, sure EZD can be used as a plugin in any DAW software of your choice. Kind regards!
Qual livraria é essa? Por favor
Sorry? :D
@@digitaldrumming Qual é o kit de som no ezdrummer3?
Samples still suffer from the machine gun effect. Granted they sound good for 95% of most drumming but that 5% really stands out.
