@@MarbiikI watched many tutorials with minimal success and yours finally did it for me and I can actually do it. Thanks a lot for making this man, it’s a great tutorial and very easy to understand. I really appreciate it
@@Marbiiksomething you didn't tell in the video is the importance of the bounce that allow the foot to pivot better the bounce help to remove weight on legs
It would be so much fun if you could put together some mini routines for us to follow. It would help develop flow. You are a great teacher and your music choices are fantastic.
Thanks a lot for the video. The identification of pivoting legs for each step is very helpful to me, and you are the only instructor that goes into such details 👍
Thank you very much for your words! I appreciate that you find helpful the way I break down the steps and that you could learn the Charleston! More tutorials on the way🔥
Love that you actually teach. In another video you really broke down weight changes and placement. Would be helpful here too. Seems like you were sort of doing a rear ball change to to reverse direction but the weight change wasn't obvious to me.
Thank you! The weight placement in the Charleston is even when both feet are on the ground and you switch it to the standing foot, to the front one when moving forward and to the back one when moving backwards. When you chain several steps in the same direction the weight is moving all the time to that direction too since the steps don't stop going, very similar to walking either forward or backwards. For this specific step I also recommend handling your weight with the ball of your feet since it's optimal for constant weight changing like it happens in the Charleston. Hope that helps :)
This is awesome. Please breakdown that variation of Charleston you mentioned at the end of the video. Btw, you probably just started but you definitely deserve many more subscribers. Thank you!
My great grand mother learned the Charleston and foxtrot in the 1920s. She had a friend that would do the Charleston with her at dances into her 80s after my grandfather died. She would do it at home by herself.
Hey Marbiik, thanks for amazing tutorial! It helps me a lot. And also, theres any plan for making more tutorial for transition or basic moves? Thanks!❤
Hi Eyasluna! Thank you very much❤️ I'm back in production and will publish a transitions video soon :) You have more beginner steps in this playlist right here: ruclips.net/p/PLFOfDatx56Y5R72Abx1Kbyn23BvJn4uGl
When trying to focus on the movements i keep losing my balance . This also happens when I do the running man or the t step. I think I am just too clumsy 😵💫
Less talking more repeated moves please. When I repeat, I don't have time to rewind the video. In meanwhile I'm losing focus. Otherwise, respect Man. Thy
I guess what you’re looking for are routines or sequences to practice and follow along. In long-form tutorials I focus more on breaking down the step so new Shufflers can fully understand the step and avoid bad practices that then they will have to unlearn. If you look for a tutorial to just mimic the teacher this is not my style of teaching, I don’t like to teach superficially. You can learn the ins and outs of the Charleston here and I will write down the idea of posting routines to follow along as practices videos. Thanks for your comment and I will work on having these kind of videos soon on the channel. I hope you understand :)
Finally, a first class dancing Instructor that knows how to teach.
You are a very good instructor, others just start doing it without breaking it a part like this. Thank you so much!!
Thank you very much for your words! I'm happy you found detailed how I broke down the step. You can find more basic Shuffle steps on the channel!
