@@nosecandie3890 Nah, Michelle hit those notes. I listened to the recording studio and I can't tell them apart, if anything Michelle's voice would be the loudest because she can hit the highest with chest. I've also seen the live version and Michelle hits it fine. Kelly is the one who fades away.

Kelly probably sang top harmony because Michelle was stronger on the lower notes and also because Michelle's voice would have stuck out too much on the top. Kelly's blends better on the top notes, whereas Michelle's overpowers.
