Final Fantasy started my love of instrumental music when I was young, which eventually led to my dedicated instrumental fingerstyle playstyle. I love how FF14 gives me this kind of unique modern twist on the "Final Fantasy" brand of music that was integral to my childhood.
This is my favorite theme from FFXIV, and I love the way you played it!! Have you written out the tabs anywhere?? If not, what chords are you using? I’d love to try to play it on my own!! :D
I read an article about an interview Famitsu had with Soken where he talked about the Kokyu himself. It could be because of that, that the melody comes right to the forefront. We really narrowed down the instruments used in the field music. The music for Yanxia only had two harps and one kokyu [Chinese fiddle]."
