One of the best parts about Yakuza games are the arcades. Hopefully at some point Sega will release them separately on modern hardware or as part of a collection
not a bad idea tbh they could even update it with dlc for each release. The only issue is I think some of the games already exist on the mega drive collection
I’d love them to take these arcades to the next level and add about twelve games like a legitimate arcade. Sega has the backlist to make it happen and the fans would love it.
I was dissapointed that Kiwami, 3 and 4 didn't really have anything (though Boxcelios was a good laugh) but Zero is almost essentially gold standard. So much classics in there and they ran perfectly!

I would really love to see virtua fighter 4 final tuned one day, and yes really looking forward to daytona 2 aka Sega racing classic 2 and especially spikeout, if I was really rich I would really love to own 4 arcade spikeout cabnites and 4 Sega naomi arcade boards for the 2 really rare spinoffs slashout and spikers battle 🙂👍
Spikeout FE is really one of the best SEGA games ever and definitely my favorite game of all time! I own 2 blast city with 2 stacks which is already a dream that came true for me! I also have Slashout and Spikers Battle but I dislike Slashout… Spikers Battle is a nice game but it’s a power stone-like…
Lucky you I'm really jealous, 🙂 and I still really wish that spikeout FE got a re-release on the NAOMI hardware like virtua striker 2 ver.2000 and Cyber Troopers Virtual-On: Oratorio Tangram M.S.B.S. Ver. 5.66 😔
I understand but it will stay on model 3 which is better than NAOMI to my opinion. I love the NAOMI 1 & 2 but model 3 games are so impressive! Now we just have to hope that the version included in the next Yakuza game will be as faithful as the original. I hope that we can play with an arcade stick too… but I don’t think we can play online .., 😩
@@fanhonda that's because the NAOMI was not as powerful and was way more cheeper for sega to produce than the model 3, I like the NAOMI hardware more because it is based off the dreamcast, it still really baffles my mind that the NAOMI 2 had no third party support like the original NAOMI hardware did, I wish that sega/amusement vision updated slashout like they did with spikeout final edition, slashout looks ok but you can't even throw the enemies, spikers battle does look pretty fun especially with 3 other people, spikeout FE looks so fun especially with 3 other people it is definitely the best one in the series, yes I'm sure that it will be faithful to the original it will definitely work with a arcade stick and yes it will probably be single player only sadly, 😔 and what are your thoughts about spikeout battle street for the original xbox as well?
The Yakuza Zero selection is the best for me with Super Hang On probably being No.1. I get that Like a Dragon is the greatest hits but it's not really OG Yakuza ;-) Keep up the awesome work!
Gosh - i keep forgetting fighting vipers et al were in the Judgement Series - probably could have included that plus the master system games and what not. Great video though, as a fellow advocate for SEGA i enjoy your work.
I have Giaden pre-loaded on steam ready to go, i have the week off work, all is ready. Nice video though i forgot how many games are in the yakzua series to play. classics all of them as well, i never really understood Boxcelous, its a very strange shmup isnt it.

It’s 100% in Gaiden, there was stories online on various sites when it was confirmed but they’re reviewing the Like a Dragon game, so Daytona USA 2 won’t be high on their priorities to cover off. It’s definitely in there. - James.

Sega needs to create a Yakuza arcade editions where you run your own arcades.

The way that every Yakuza uses these classic games is pretty awesome. Same effect with Shenmue when you can play in arcades :D

Kiwami was pretty fun because of mesu king, which is a parody on a real game mushi king

daytona 2 is created by "Nagoshi, The Man who His Name is Erased on Credits". so there is no hope for daytona 2 in Yakuza game.

Spikeout, along with Virtua Fighter 3tb, will be in the upcoming Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth.

Will Daytona 2 def be in the new Dragon Gaiden reeased this week. Not seen it mentioned in any reviews so far.

Being that I am a hard core Sega fan I might give Yakuza a try being that Sega remastered it for xb1
