- If you couldn't make it to Comic-Con this year, here's Jamie and Adam's entire panel from Friday evening. Wil Wheaton moderated while Jamie and Adam chatted about the future of Mythbusters and having fun with Tested, followed up a great q&a session with attendees. Be sure to stay to the end!

Back in the first season of mythbusters, adam notes how jamie goes on and on until adam talks over him.

+Aaron Swain My guess is he is uncomfortable at these sorts of things, and holding a mic gives his hands something to do.
After watching this I am so happy to find out my voice was clear when asking a question... Felt so nervous, especially after being recognized. Awesome Con this year guys, looking forward to 2014!

I love both of them! but they are both very different personalities, as Adam has said at times. Obviously, Jamie is a very tallented constructor, and often more methodical and straight faced, as opposed to Adam who has technical talents too but is more of an extrovert, and adds a bit of clowning around. Yes, Jamie likes to hold the microphone, probably due to feelings of insecurity. Due to the fact that Adam has more 'apparent' social flair, he will often dominate a conversation. So i actually liked the fact that at 10:48 Jamie said..."before Adam answers that question..." (short uncomfortable pause)...
Honestly, you guys are the reason why I'm in the science field. Mythbusters has shown me, a dude who grew up in the great nerd-hating world of the 90s, that science is not only important and groundbreaking, but also cool and worth doing. Without Mythbusters I'd probably be some crappy CPA for some boring law firm. But I have made it my life's goal to become a scientist, to alleviate ignorance and spread knowledge to the world.
You guys really do need your own genre. You deserve all the awards.

This only got recommended to me now and it was so good seeing Adam and Jamie talking to the crowd like Adam does on his Q&A's

Adam and Jaime may not have been "friends", but they were definitely buddies. Great show, will always be missing Imahara.
I think people always confuse the not friends thing with Adam and Jamie. They obviously get along, but they both admit to absolutely getting on each other’s nerves and arguing when they were doing the show and figuring out how to go about each myth etc. They worked together for 14 years. They got along as colleagues but have different personalities and do not socialize with each other outside of work or off set. I’ve worked with many people in my life that I was cordial and even friendly with at work and for the most part got along well with, but we didn’t talk or get together outside of work. It’s not that uncommon.

The world is a better place when thinkers and teachers like Adam and Jamie are the ones people look up to.
Idk they say they aren’t friends but I find their interactions endearing. Like how Adam started answering his first question by talking abt Jamie first.
I remember when i first saw this show. i said, " No way they last a year" these 2 hosts arent pretty enough for TV. I loved the show from day one but honestly didnt give it a snowballs chance in hell at success. I am so glad to be wrong. these 2 distinct personality types are brilliant and proof that Strong yet opposing personalities can be great together . Love the rest of the cast as well But Adam and Jamie are just brilliant

Well, the fact is that I'm homeschooled, so I just called it homework. xD
I looked at the time on this video and I didn't think I'd watch the whole thing. I did though, was worth.
I miss that show so much ! I was very sad when it went off the air but like every thing it eventually comes to an end. I would love to see the show in reruns.
Kudos to the guy who asked about ageing. I have been watching the mythbusters since the begining and no-one is getting younger, as sad as it may be, despite you guys keep producing the best stuff out there and with Tested, it takes it all to a new level. Hopefully many years of awesome epic stuff to come - keep testing... and blowing shit up!

Will Wheaton really did a great job keeping the energy up and the pace moving.
Jamie's sense of humor is so cut and dry that I just died laughing this entire panel. I'm not a big fan of the fan-asked questions, but I guess they have to do them for this kind of panel.

These two were just the best possible hosts for Mythbusters. I mean, i dont think i would have liked it if it had been just Adam or Adam and someone with his same personality. Theres just something about Adam and Jamie's opposite personalities that made the show even more fun to watch. Its like a Jay and Silent Bob sort of thing. They balance each other out. Also, when i look at these two, i see myself. Part of my personality is like Adam, the other part is like Jamie. So, it just WORKS.

That last question made me sad and melancholic. I used to watch a lot of science shows on tv, they were a big part of what made me be who I am now. I'm sad kids now don't have the same opportunities.
I just love the enthusiasm from the Mythbusters team and the Tested team. Sometimes it seems like Adam's the enthusiastic one while Jamie is the straight man(which he often is), but you can tell that Jamie really does care about science and getting people excited about it with this kind of information.
Highlight is at 40:00 when Adam casually mentions when "we made Archimedes Death Ray for Obama we involved kids" and just watch Wil's face as you see him instantly thinking how hilarious that is when taken out of context.
When someone calls you from space, that's when you know your a big shot now.

I've been watching tested more than I've watched Mythbusters and I discovered this site only about 4 months ago.
I'd watch a ten hour Adam/Jamie brainstorm about compressing poop.
As an electrical engineer I happen to make a good living right now designing the electrical system for a machine that compresses garbage.

i just paused the moment Adam said that, hoping someone would have noticed the amazing moment that it caused. both on stage and inside my heart, i giggled as hard as wheaton tried not to.
If we need more vids like this on youtube then feel free to spend the money on the equipment and cost of tickets, travel etc needed to produce these videos and there wont be a problem. Just do like everyone else does on the lower quality videos. Open a new tab and do something else while you listen to the audio...it's nostalgic, it's like listening to this invention we had last century called a 'radio'. It's like the 'talkies' but without motion.

It's funny to see the contrast in personalities. Adam laughing while Jamie keeps a straight face, and Adam giving more detailed answers as opposed to Jamie's one word replies. :D

I imagine comic con must be a haven for famous people. They can walk around in a crowded place in costume and not have trillions of people fawning on them, must be kinda weirdly relieving.

Lol @ that guy who said 'take my money' and Adam said that Jamie reached maxed lvl, so many geeky references...I've spent last few days just watching comic-con things, 20th anniversary of The X Files, Divergent film cast...I wish I could've gone there, and maybe I will be able to some day, I need a lot of money to travel to US... until then, RUclips is my friend. And now it's integrating with TV, the future is here :)
