While it might be a bit much and we have to wait for its release. 1-2 Munkidori with possibly a luminous energy would be a lot of fun being able to move dmg counters over for KOs
I love these interesting deck videos. The sv era has several interesting comeback, counter, and combo cards in sets that are overlooked by most players. When it becomes retro many players will discover decks that didn’t exist at the time, but would’ve been good in the meta and for the format as rogue or top contenders.
I made a single prize metang/snorlax deck with the idea of utilizing the baton. Thinking about fitting a 1-1 dialga v, vstar with a thorton for an endgame type of star cronos. Metang seems super formidable tho!
Can add 1 metagross or zacian for single prize attacker if needed. Zacian ability automatically blocks the 30 dmg received also
What ab 3-2 copperajah, no bib, & 2-2 dodrio? Draw + attacker
1 card is like no card.
I think they'd get KOd a lot easier and it's not as much draw power
What about rumbling engine revavroom? It benefits from all the metal and stage 1 evo synergy we got going on plus it gives some really good additional draw power since we don't have room for radiant Greninja.
I was playing Copperajah as a LZ build for a few weeks when it came out, on paper it had a lot of power and I was able to top many locals with it but it felt like you were either compromising on damage output or tanking. With metang, I think this deck could actually have a real identity and the new stadium + cape seem like great additions into mid to low damage cap decks.
Ciphermaniac could fetch the mist energy with bibarel if you upped that to a 2:2 line to be more consistent. Helps guarantee switch or even 2 metal for metang to use
I've been thinking about this card a lot too. Town store + new sawsbuck + roseanne's backup means you never run out of your tool cards except from lost vacuum. Something to consider. Recycling hero's cape might be insane.

I think mist energy, V-guard, and Jet energy could be good for addition effects since you’re already attaching with Metang.
I’m thinking about running the drampa from temporal forces I believe it does 220 if each Pokemon you have has a damage counter

Literally sorting out the binder after making some fun decks for my daughter and had a thought about this and then 10 minutes later this video pops up weird but glad to know I’m not the only one that thought it might be a fun combination
This is a pretty strong looking deck, would it be possible though to rock a card like the Orthworm with the 100+30 to one bench as a solid single prize metal type?
I've been looking at potential partners for Metang since prerelease and I'm thinking Melmetal ex or Aggron V could be fun.

Its just one extra card compared to jacq, even tho you are using the supporter, i prefer that over using your ace spec slot

I'm curious to see if the 151 dodrio could serve as a single prize attacker after stacking up a bit of damage on the bench. There isn't much else you could do if you stumble across mimikyu

I think 2 or 3 mist energy would be good but yeah ig i dont know how to get to them or how accesible they are.
But dont forget about moon. Thats like giritina on the go. They can frenzy gouging multiple times even on the same moon!
Woulde you not want to play more rigid band? I would play 2 more over a 4th cufant and arven
I don’t hate the thought of Aggro V in here it’s not great but if you can metang good enough to get all 5 in one turn you can 1 shot and Vstar and still have 230 hp
When you're trying to tank that much, I think 2 or 3 mist energy is mandatory
