The customs community has a ton of venue files made. They're all in the custom content discord. If you're in YARG's discord, go to their promote section and check the pinned messages. There's a link to all the files there

This is YARG! It's still a new game in early development. Open source, community made, full band, and a lot of fun features. By default the game is much closer to console games than CH with no infinite front end and an anti-spamming/ghosting feature. Been riding the YARG train for a few months now. Promising af 🤘

Just found about this game and was wondering if anyone could let me know, does playing at higher than 60 fps matter in this game i saw another video of jason with his fps cap at 60 and didn't know if that was just his choice or the preferred fps for this game.
For sure! All charts for Clone Hero and even old Rock Band con files will load up on YARG. Some charts may have sync issues if they're really old, but that's about it the only thing to watch out for

But when it comes down to it, he feels that clone hero’s loose engine contributes to a feeling that very few things he hits on it feels satisfying to him, and that it leads to having to have really hard note spammy bleep bloops to get any sort of difficulty in the game. YARG has anti-ghosting, which prevents spamming and puts more focus on actually playing the notes, which gave him the motivation to actually try harder at hitting hard stuff properly, on top of just being motivated to play rhythm games in general. YARG is also open source and has contributions from a lot of dedicated people, so it’s more actively updated than Clone Hero at the moment, which makes him even more motivated to follow along the development and provide feedback.
There's a reason no one uses it. This works well and it's the default settings. The default being tighter is a big deal for people who want a straightforward way to experience something closer to console

I mean I heard him say multiple times that everyone can do what they want, if he would be crusading, Itd be like "deus vult fuk your fun" So I wouldn't call this a crusade, would call it more like .. calling attention to how old console gh games used to play and therefore..(and this is my opinion not his) maybe this should be the default setting on clonehero? Most people don't even know about ghosting. When I heard about it I was like this makes more sense to me. Not like I can play wrong notes between right notes on real guitar without anyone being like ouch my ears. So why should that be an FC
Over and over the thing I've asked for is a game to have audio normalization on custom charts. Unfortunately there's no standard for customs. Everyone puts volumes at different levels. Do my best with audio balancing... but some charts are LOUD
