I guess different people struggle at different things. I've seen people play games that I think I'd never be able to do, but struggle at parts of the game that I find so simple. It could also be the moment. Or maybe he hadn't warmed up. Or gotten the rythm. or something, Idk lol

Chester was the first vocalist who made me want to make music all the way back in middle school. I friggin miss him.
@@JasonParadise I get it. Linkin Park saved my life. It's not meant to be ironic or anything...and it's really sad, but listening to Linkin Park every day in the 9th grade was one of the few things I had to look forward to. I was so close to suicide. I was closeted bi, living in Utah, struggling with mental health issues (stress-induced breakdowns nearly every day), constantly bullied for my weight and high-pitched voice, and was an outcast also for my lack of religion. My only real friend had just moved to Texas. Basically, I was lonely, deeply depressed, constantly ostracized by an extremely religious and hateful community, and hiding this big secret while trying to act as straight as possible. It's sad...but I love Linkin Park...I still do, but I can't really listen to them anymore. Every time I do, I'm reminded of the worst time in my life...the time I wanted to end it. That doesn't mean I haven't listened to the entirety of Hybrid Theory at least 600 times in my life, but it's been a while. I'm not remotely spiritual or religious, but there was a moment...a really brief moment when I heard about Chester's suicide that I felt somehow responsible...like I had somehow channeled some of my teenage megrim into him. It's stupid, and everything...but that's how important he was to me. Well...that was a trip down memory lane. Sorry if it was a bit dark.
I miss him too. I just heard Halfway Right for the first time not too long ago (I mostly listen to their older stuff) and I cried.
Chester was definitely an inspiration to a lot of people, I miss him just as much as a lot of others do.

They all look the same: blank expression, hunched back, staring blankly, quietly talking and barely reacting unless something catastrophic happens, which is often the point of the highlight video.

@@anarodarte7282 So the vocals are from Porter Robinson's 'Goodbye to a World', and I've seen in other comments that the instrumental is from My Chemical Romance's 'Welcome to the Black Parade'. I don't know the latter song or band all that well, so I'm not certain, but 'Goodbye to a World' is definitely worth a listen.

This mashup is honestly a phenomenom in and of itself. It combines what in my opinions is the benchmark to social media culture over the years. From the nostalgic 70's&80's tracks, to memes, the storm that is anime in the west, Idol pop culture with shows like Love Live and Cinderella Girls. The list goes on and on. And it's all been represented in one mashup. So both the one responsible for the video, and the charter. You deserve the highest of internet awards out there

Space Oddity because Bowie, the whole story in the song, and because me and my old band played a cover of that song at Borderline before the incident. TTFATF because of the same message with the carrying on.
This is one of my all time favorite meme mashups. It's so emotional, everything works way too good together, and just the way it's all organized creates such a longing, nostalgic feeling at the end.
