- Recently added a LaserDisc player to the collection, and now I have an additional 121 LDs to go along with it....for FREE!!!!!!!!
Everything from classics, western,s 80's action flicks, romantic comedies, Star Trek movies & episodes....you name it, I got it!
Box sets, special editions, mini-series, ect.
The craziest pickups video I've ever done, and I don't expect to do one this insane ever again.

Wow, you got a true score with that collection! I just recently got back into collecting laserdiscs and they are insanely enjoyable to have. You can really tell with a lot of the titles that they were marketed to really hard core movie buffs.

I had a good number of the LDs you showed at one time ( a lot got tossed during a separation). Fortunately I saved about 20 late releases and hard to find titles. "No where to Hide" is a decent Van Damm movie. Underrated (If that's possible lol). Not sure what type of LD player you have but you need a good one to get a better quality picture. I've been a big LD guy for years. Nice collection you've got there. Enjoy!
nice instant collection, I just recently got a huge amount of them myself along with a dual sided player I hope to post a video in the next few weeks whenever I get a chance lol. I was with my friend Cinemasickness he posted his video of the laserdisc we got they weren't free but we got a pretty good deal.

In May of 2015 I was given two Pioneer LaserDIsc Players from their original owner for free and in September I received two more Pioneer LaserDisc Players and sixty movies on LaserDisc for free from one of my old High School teachers.
There are people who don't care about making money off their LaserDisc Players and LaserDisc so they just give them away for free.
Too bad they're nowhere near my home area of Philadelphia, PA...
Exactly :( I'm right outside Amish country (less than 2 hours from Philly) and looking for laserdiscs is like looking for Big Foot.

Yeah, it wasn't really the number of discs (although 121 laserdiscs for free is INSANE!!) that made me go nuts, but the variety and quality of what was in those tubs.

It is a pretty awesome set. Sorry, but I'm going for a complete Star Trek set (including all the Japanese box sets) on laserdisc. I'll keep an eye out for another one though. There have been some insane deals on the Laserdisc Forever page on Facebook lately, so you never know.
Ah, I am not going for a complete set, just the movies, the pilot episodes, the final episodes, and the two parters...as many as I can get.

Eventually, yes. I only have a desktop for capturing and my ld player is way too big to fit on the desk like I do with consoles...but I'll make it work. I was planning on shooting a bit of it off camera for now as a sample of the disc in the meantime.

Unfortunately laser discs were never popular in Australia always liked the formatOvershadowed by VHS and dvd
It sucks to be in any PAL region when it comes to laser discs. Even for most North American & European stuff, Japan is the best source, followed by the US. Makes it easier for people like me in NTSC regions.
