Enjoying the content; but our nonprofit Annointed Hands Ministries got media attention on alignable just after creating a profile, it was crazy and shocking and I was scared and I didn't know what to talk about. So I just talked and they put EVERYTHING IN THE ARTICLE, SO now I know to be more structured and not go on a rampage; BUT AGAIN you never know whose watching you.
I have been writing articles for our nonprofit and another. I have joined networking groups that yhe media is a part of. This lead to getting our nonprofit on the front page. I also post on The Patch, an online news of the neighborhood. Our community has a networking group and if I hashing their name on a Facebook post, they pick it up for their page. Channel 5 news has a segment People Making a Difference. I nominated my husband and our nonprofit and he was awarded a certificate and airtime!
Thanks for this video! I have recently joined the board of a non profit in a small town (4000 people) and we are looking for ways to reach beyond our town. So this is great! If you have any other ideas, I would love to hear about it!
