- RuPaul looks back on some of his looks from the past and decides to throw his denim farm girl outfit, a look from the 1993 Billboard Awards and color blocking at the Virgin Megastore on the hibachi. He gives a Versace to the trade pimp look he wore to Madonna’s release party. RuPaul also reveals that he still owns all his past fashions.

I believe I saw an interview, and this was years ago, where it was one of her goals. They were trying to figure out general public interest and financial viability. Since then, with the growth of her fame and the continuing popularity and proliferation of drag, it seems an eventuality. If not as an exhibit at a prestigious fashion museum, then at least as an established gallery attraction at an acclaimed Vegas casino.

Goes to show you, back then Ru had the body to find and fit high fashion but not the necessary coin to have couture shoes made in her size. @@TightTifannyPussPuss She was probably not wearing samples, she was wearing custom made or bigger sizes designers had in store. It looks like she's front row at a fashion show, designers usually dress their front row attendees. She probably fit into the jacket and wore her own skirt. There's also a picture of her in the 90s with Jean Paul Gaultier with her in one of his outfits, probably made just for her.
