- Welcome to one of the biggest City Updates from my new layout. In this update I built ALL the retaining walls, FINISHED the ballasting of the train tracks AND constructed the sloped street that makes it possible for vehicles to access the elevated platform. This was A LOT of work! But I think the end result is well worth it. Enjoy!

The city was so beautiful❤
Thank you! 🙏🏻
So glad to see an update!
I know, it‘s been a little while… Thanks for commenting! 🙏🏻
Super! Sehr cool!
Dankeschön!!
Amazing 🤩 big fan of fan of the retaining wall and especially the sloped road. We’re looking for a way to do the same without ‘wasting’ too much space 😅
But absolutely amazing 😍
Thank you very much! I really appreciate the kind words.
Projects like a sloped road unfortunately almost always ‚waste‘ a decent portion of space… But for me personally it’s worth it because it just makes sense in this layout. Otherwise I‘d have to make the road at the bottom have a dead end. Also I just like having all the roads actually connected on my layout instead of meeting up only in my imagination outside of the layout.
Looks great!
What kind of track are you using?
Thank you! I am using FX Track combined with a bunch of old LEGO 9v track for the City. To get the ballast of the curves to look good I am using the ballast plates from TrixBrix. Luckily for all of the radii that I use in my layout the TrixBrix ballast plates fit perfectly.
