    Excellent! Attention to craft not only makes better art, it ensures safety as well. This is a fantastic primer for anyone self-teaching relief printing, with some great tips from an educator who knows from doing. And we promise to stop throwing our lino scraps around the office... 😄

    What an incredible assignment, Bethany...motivating to students, including ME! You describe the procedure so well! I would LOVE to be taking part in this assignment. Look very forward to seeing your students’ finished products. I hope you post those, too.

    Thanks for this super helpful video, I'm going to try my first linocut tomorrow!
    One question, is linoleum eco-friendly?

    • @BethanyThiele
      @BethanyThiele  2 года назад

      Thanks and good luck! I’m not sure about the eco-friendly part, but I’m sure different brands use different materials

      @@BethanyThiele Thanks. The lino blocks you use here, are they sustainable/eco-friendly?

    Don't you have to warm the lino before carving?

    • @BethanyThiele
      @BethanyThiele  Месяц назад

      Nope! And this one in particular is softer and easier to carve.

    Very nice. Is it possible to use Dremel tool instead of curving tool?
    Could you please share the sheet product online link? Is it water resistant product?

      It is linoleum and you can wash ink off it and reuse. The backing is burlap

      I have only used Lino cutters on this product so I can’t comment on how a Dremel would work. Good luck!

      +Elizabeth Holden my students understand that like them, I am human and I make mistakes. I simply address the error and move on.
