Thanks for the vid. I've been waiting for my DGT SE for months so another teaser - hopefully arriving very soon! Having enjoyed the 24-08 SE's tonal flexibility with the individual coil tap mini-toggles, my only concern was losing that with the DGT. I'm interested in what was involved in what you have done, i.e. what parts you had to buy and how complex the mod. Was it all DIY? Cheers
I hope you get yours soon. It will be worth the wait, I promise. As far as the wiring mod it's this: Post in thread 'PRS Wiring Mods Resource Thread' forums.prsguitars.com/threads/prs-wiring-mods-resource-thread.45759/post-620760 Parts were (2) PRS Custom Push/Pull pots, (1) PRS Custom Tone Pot. All of the wiring used was cloth push-back wire. The capacitors are just the factory selections, based on the diagram. I didn't do the wiring. The fellow who made the diagram in the thread I posted lives near me. I gave him the guitar to wire for me. He said it was quick. I suck at wiring so it probably would have taken me much longer. That's the best I can offer regarding complexity. Thanks watching and leaving a comment!
@@denmansdentv6369 You were absolutely right - it was definitely worth the wait - AWESOME guitar! 🤘 - makes me want to be a better player to get the best out of this thing
Thanks for the content; which exact model of MannMade trem you bought (there's a lot of model in their website, I don't want to make a mistake 😉)? Thanks a lot!
Glad you enjoyed the video!! The MannMade trem In using on that guitar is the: MannMade USA "PRS/MANN" Vibrato Bridge - Hybrid. It's available in Nickel also. It is a direct retrofit for pre-2017 Core, CE, S2 & SE guitars.
PRS SE Locking Tuners. They are a direct retrofit and look/behave like the PRS Phase II locking tuners used on the Core guitars. Very stable and well built. HIGHLY recommend.
The SE Locking tuners are great. They help with string change making it easier to change/replace strings. Also, the PRS locking tuners come with brass shafts which add to the tone
Sounds great, brass saddles kewl
Sounds great!
I hope your father is well.
Greetings Sylvia.

You can actually buy the Corr PRS Gen II Trem or Gen III. The Gen II will drop right in. The Gen III you'll need to mod the mounting screws.
super talented ^^
Can you be specific about the exact locking tuners fit without drilling?

I agree. I put a set on my new SE DGT and it was very noticable. @@denmansdentv6369
