2871 on a KA feels fantastic. Almost instant tq and will hold to limiter when paired right with accessories, ebc etc. Good luck on the adventure and I’m here for assistance here and there via PM.
@@KristoffJohnson what do you recommend towards fuel system setup / tuning options? I was looking a enthalpy rom tunes as that seems most cost effective. Trying to build on somewhat of a budget - already have turbo, manifold and intercooler parts. Open to tuning / fueling suggestions though.
@@CurtisPenneAn Enthalpy tune is tried and true but limited. It’s definitely the budget way to go if you know you’re going to stick with your power setup in the long run. If you plan to upgrade later, a MSPNP2 is another nice budget option. Stock fuel lines and rail can handle that power. Last but not least, a single in tank pump such as an hellcat pump or aeromotive 340 can handle that power level.
I am aiming for the same power range. I am thinking of installing a RSX3076 (since ACEUp motorsports sells a top mount kit) Do you know if this turbo spools up quick?
I cannot believe that thing makes that much power with basically a stock head. Im looking forward to my build. You gave me a bit of motivation to actually get off my ass and finish my car. Engine is tore down, h beam rods, weisco pistons, titanium valve springs, incolnel exhaust valves, stainless intake valves, and brian crower 272 cams. Im looking for a reliable 500 whp. I have all the above listed parts ready to go in and an old isr turbo kit that i plan to upgrade. Just need this snow to melt and some free time from work.
