I've been in the literal pit of despair lately, as you know, and seeing your face and watching your video was a welcomed distraction. 💛 happy you were able to do some fall cleaning.
This vid has proved to be so cathartic. I agree completely with your thoughts on Riley Sager and Simone St. James. You've helped me not feel so guilty about DNFing bad books as well as unhauling junk that just takes up space and makes me feel ookey. Thank you for your therapy session!!
I love that just the smell (along with that gorgeous cover) convinced you to keep 'Firestarter' by Stephen King. 😂I ADORE the smell of really old, musty books... and I am fully aware of how weird that sounds, but the smell just hits differently. It's somehow soothing to the soul! Love this video! 🖤
i really loved the anthropocene reviewed! it's nonfiction, not YA fiction like his other stuff. a lot of the essays made me feel like a peeled grape, but tbh i would suggest the audiobook (or the podcast - the book is mainly transcripts of the podcast). if you're not a nonfiction girlie, there's a short excerpt from it on youtube if you look up his essay on the song "aud lang syne" and i found it really moving. it's a good taste test for the rest of it and i highly rec that vid!
This seems like a good idea, but a lot of public libraries are already short on space and they end up donating the books anyway. Very few are kept. In my experience anyway. Maybe it’s different in Canada ❤
Great unhaul I was the same way years ago when I hated a book but wanted to cover keep it lol never again. I do a new conclusion where if the books I rate 3 stars and under I donate..4 and 5 stars I keep 📚☕🦇💀🎃🕸️🕷️
Me too! We have no where good to sell books in Canada. I donate my paperback books to an organization that distribute books to prisons but for the hardcovers i end up holding on to them.
I remmeber once upon a time my ex got legit pissed at me for donating and giving books away. This video makes me feel so vindicated, so thank you so much. ♡
Unmasked was so good. It didn’t read like non fiction at all. I liked Hide, but I’m glad I got it from the library. I borrowed The Hacienda from the library, read about 30 pages and was bored. I returned it without finishing it. If you set up a store, I would definitely buy from you.
Hey Jordaline! I have some books which if I haven’t read by this time next year, I’m going to get rid of them. They are romances, literary fiction and memoirs. Thank you for the Video! Always love to see you bb! ❤❤❤
I cry over All the White Spaces but I always knew it may not connect with you in the same way. I hope you find it a good home with someone it will speak to!!
How much would it be to send Where They Wait, Whisper Down the Lane, Just Like Mother, What Moves the Dead and Reckless Girls to Australia? cause it is insanely expensive to buy them as hardcovers here and I really want them!! haha
Late to the party but that "Book of Cold Cases" is not representative of Simon St. James. I read it twice because I hated it the first time and thought I was being too hard on it. Can't get above three stars. All of her other novels were four and five stars for me.
“I hated this. Who wants to buy it”. 😂 Your mileage may vary is definitely a good mantra to live by. I may not always feel the same way, but I always appreciate your intelligent, thoughtful, and dishy reviews ❤️ I definitely recommend The Anthropocene Reviewed but on audio. It has extra content. He rates random things like an online review. He gave Canada Geese 1 star. Have to agree that the cobra chicken is not all that.
If you sell any of these on etsy you know I'd probably check it out and maybe purchase some depending on what the shipping is between our provinces. At least this is a win for us Canadians who can never purchase books from an unhaul haha
Olivia sells her books, could you ask her what it is called? Definitely open a store though to get rid of all your books and get at least some money back.
I loved Verity it was good I have to admit. I have heard so many people moan about Killer Vacation I have been waiting for ages for a copy of Summer Sons, Inwas meant to be sent a copy and am still waiting
That's exactly how I felt about The Hacienda but I can't articulate why I didn't really like it. I think the pacing was weird? Like, spoilers maybe, but the haunted stuff starts happening super early, and the stakes don't really get any higher. Like, the sense of danger feels the same throughout? It ratchets up really high but then stays there and just drags. Also the characters didn't feel like real people at all, and I definitely didn't buy their romance because what was there to like about each other? They don't really have personalities.
Immediately liked this video from all the fluffy flattering. Love you, "would totally date you if I wasn't in a long term relationship" you too girl, you too 😏❤😘
Have you read to Whisper down the lane? I just listened to it free on audible and it was.... intense in an s.a. type of way, with kids accusations. Plus the satanic panic Era. Idk if most people can handle that stuff. I can't remember what I rated it but it was a 3 at least
For some reason Colleen continues to be problematic. Like things are still coming out. Yet people continue to let it slide because they like her. Like her books aren’t even that amazing 🥲.
We do love an unhaul. And we surely adore Miss Jordaline
"I got this pumpkin....at the fucking pumpkin patch BITCH!" lmaooooooo I. LIVE.
Bless you for saying If We Were Villians wasn't any good. I rly thought I was the only one on that one.
I got rid of my entire collection in 2015. Now I've settled down, I'm slowly buying back all the books I gave away. Books will ruin me...
I've been in the literal pit of despair lately, as you know, and seeing your face and watching your video was a welcomed distraction. 💛 happy you were able to do some fall cleaning.
Me too. Crappy disappointment in life.
This vid has proved to be so cathartic. I agree completely with your thoughts on Riley Sager and Simone St. James. You've helped me not feel so guilty about DNFing bad books as well as unhauling junk that just takes up space and makes me feel ookey. Thank you for your therapy session!!
I tried to read sundown motel by Simone st james and wow that was cringe and eyeroll central. Did not finish.
I think having it on my shelf would be a curse. 😂😂 I’m screaming lmao I love that
Some books be like that
He was in and out like my father was😂😂 felt that
I am so happy you kept Firestarter...I've never read it either...but that cover? Stunning.
i really loved the anthropocene reviewed! it's nonfiction, not YA fiction like his other stuff. a lot of the essays made me feel like a peeled grape, but tbh i would suggest the audiobook (or the podcast - the book is mainly transcripts of the podcast). if you're not a nonfiction girlie, there's a short excerpt from it on youtube if you look up his essay on the song "aud lang syne" and i found it really moving. it's a good taste test for the rest of it and i highly rec that vid!
Thanks for all your videos. They get my mind off such the crap going on.
I loved the Vegetarian! It just hit perfectly for me. The writing!! 😍
I love book unhauls bc they inspire me to do the same, and I’m glad I stumbled across yours; instant subscribe love the vibes haha
PangoBooks now sells in Canada ❤
For real? It says that the app is not available
Yes Etsy!
the way you said that the ending to Out was f'ed up and weird... sounds perfect and going on the tbr list now haha
Do you donate to the public libraries in your town?
This seems like a good idea, but a lot of public libraries are already short on space and they end up donating the books anyway. Very few are kept. In my experience anyway. Maybe it’s different in Canada ❤
Great unhaul I was the same way years ago when I hated a book but wanted to cover keep it lol never again. I do a new conclusion where if the books I rate 3 stars and under I donate..4 and 5 stars I keep 📚☕🦇💀🎃🕸️🕷️
LOVE a juicy unhaul but think I might love this lipstick on you even MORE, yes girlie!!!!!!
I hope you get Pangobooks in Canada soon. I just discovered this app a few months ago and I'm loving it because I'm out of shelf space
Me too! We have no where good to sell books in Canada. I donate my paperback books to an organization that distribute books to prisons but for the hardcovers i end up holding on to them.
The dad joke had me gagging 😂 relatableeeee
Please let me know where you put the books up. I would be interested of buying some books.
I remmeber once upon a time my ex got legit pissed at me for donating and giving books away. This video makes me feel so vindicated, so thank you so much. ♡

obsesseddddd with the background and you
I am still trying to figure out why I didn't dnf The Book of Cold Cases - so awful.
I get so excited when you upload and I’m so glad I found your channel this year!
Yesss open your own Etsy for books shop 🤗 ❤
I 1000% agree with unhauling Verity.
Canadian here! I sell my books on Poshmark, you can least each one as an item and offer lower prices if people bundle multiples together
I need to unhaul my collection as well. I have so many stacks on the floor cause I have no shelf space 🙈🤣
Hey Jordaline! I have some books which if I haven’t read by this time next year, I’m going to get rid of them. They are romances, literary fiction and memoirs. Thank you for the Video! Always love to see you bb! ❤❤❤
Do you have an app called pango books in Canada?
I cry over All the White Spaces but I always knew it may not connect with you in the same way. I hope you find it a good home with someone it will speak to!!
Dude I'd love to buy a box of them from you cuz you got good tasting books
I still have Home Before Dark on my shelves because it glows in the dark. Only reason
How much would it be to send Where They Wait, Whisper Down the Lane, Just Like Mother, What Moves the Dead and Reckless Girls to Australia? cause it is insanely expensive to buy them as hardcovers here and I really want them!! haha
yes I want books!!
This unhaul was a blast!!! :)
Jordaline how many books did you unhaul?
The therapist is a book you my want to keep......fst paced and well explained
I love unhauling books. It feels amazing.
Late to the party but that "Book of Cold Cases" is not representative of Simon St. James. I read it twice because I hated it the first time and thought I was being too hard on it. Can't get above three stars. All of her other novels were four and five stars for me.
I've been looking for out where the heck did you get it?????
I think depop or poshmark are better than etsy for their fee rates! (if either are available in canada)
“I hated this. Who wants to buy it”. 😂
Your mileage may vary is definitely a good mantra to live by. I may not always feel the same way, but I always appreciate your intelligent, thoughtful, and dishy reviews ❤️
I definitely recommend The Anthropocene Reviewed but on audio. It has extra content. He rates random things like an online review. He gave Canada Geese 1 star. Have to agree that the cobra chicken is not all that.
LOCK EVERY DOOR IS MY LEAST FAVORITE BOOK FROM RILEY, finally someone who gets it 😂
If you sell any of these on etsy you know I'd probably check it out and maybe purchase some depending on what the shipping is between our provinces. At least this is a win for us Canadians who can never purchase books from an unhaul haha
Can you not return a duplicate to the bookstore? I feel like it's not a faux pas to return an unread duplicate.
Olivia sells her books, could you ask her what it is called? Definitely open a store though to get rid of all your books and get at least some money back.
It is great to see you back in another video btw 🎉
Peter Swanson, I don’t think I have heard a great thing about any of his books. Ass paper is an alternative for that one just in case you run short 😂
I loved Verity it was good I have to admit.
I have heard so many people moan about Killer Vacation
I have been waiting for ages for a copy of Summer Sons, Inwas meant to be sent a copy and am still waiting
Youre so fun 🥰😂💜💜
Ngl, I kinda use these unhauls as low key book recommendation videos. If it's too weird or disturbing for you it genuinely peaks my interest 😂
I’d love.. You made a Fool of me with your beauty!! How can I pay? LOL!
I can not will not read Hoover again. Nope! Nada!
We love a good unhaul!
YES! Be reckless and get rid of “Reckless Girls” #mess
If you own Atlas Six, I would add that to the pile. Dark Academia with too much character growth and not enough plot.
Instead of Etsy can you do eBay!??!! I’d love to purchase some!!!!!
I liked the perfect stranger but idk if it’s for you
I’ll buy them!
Immediately liked this video from all the fluffy flattering. Love you, "would totally date you if I wasn't in a long term relationship" you too girl, you too 😏❤😘
❤❤❤
If you do list your books I will pick up Whisper Down the Lane!
Yes sell please I'll take them all!!!! Lol
@📚wormCraft👑 #Unapologetic OK 🆗 you can have the ones I already have😎
Have you read to Whisper down the lane? I just listened to it free on audible and it was.... intense in an s.a. type of way, with kids accusations. Plus the satanic panic Era. Idk if most people can handle that stuff. I can't remember what I rated it but it was a 3 at least
You’re so funny!!!
I'm glad I'm not the only one that was not impressed with Verity!
I want Queenie!
you are so amazing!
Love you!
💚🖤
Wait I actually loved Radio Silence!! 😅 also, yes, DISPENSE of THE PLOT. tis garbage.
I'd love to have unmasked
I would love unmasked and watch out for her
Radiosilence was a dissapointment, you are not missing anything
Well I'd buy Girls with Sharp Sticks, What Moves the Dead, and You Made a Fool of Death...lmk 😘
I'm happy for people who love Riley Sager, but he is not for me. Lock Every Door was the first book I read this year, and I hated it.
you remind me of bailey sarian
Here for the long ass stem. 🎃
Girl you saved yourself with the “From Blood and Ash” series cuz it’s ass
Okay i need so many how can I contact you!
I wish I could take them😪 I need more reasons to stay cozied in bed🥹💜
For some reason Colleen continues to be problematic. Like things are still coming out. Yet people continue to let it slide because they like her. Like her books aren’t even that amazing 🥲.
Too bad pangobooks isn't in Canada🥲 but loved the unhaul😌📚
