Wow. I adore Sowon's skill to keep it cool when she was put in a tight spot. When the PD announced that the other team werent allowed to eat the black pork, you could see the look of disapproval from Sowon. Yet, she played by the rules and after the 3 of them showcased their aegyo performances, she realized she had a bargaining chip for the PD (because the losing team had put effort into getting what they want) and still holding that "nothing is free" stance, took the initiative to order more meat and negotiated with the PD so that they could eat as a group. And by the body language from that scene, you can surely tell that Sowon too was hoping for the PD's approval because he still has the last say. Why she did that? Because in the end, she is the leader and cares for her members. Such leadership skills. And no, she isnt immature and saying she isnt fit to be a leader? Really now? -.-
TaeYeon, ChoRong, Baby Soul... And like all the great leaders that has come before her (Sowon), you judging her by that one scene, verily is an injustice.
I KNOW RIGHT. i cant even understand why everyone saying they're mad at her for not sharing at the same time. in this era, gfriend is still a rookie and obedient, so of course they dont have the guts to revoke the staffs' decision to not give them meat. sowon doesnt want them to look rebellious by saying they dont approve or such, she also thinks about the impact and consequences for unnecessary actions. although i agree with the staff for the losing team not to have meat, since, this is a competition and the losing team have to bite the dust no matter how pitiable. i cant believe people didnt see how sowon gently implied that she wants the others to also eat, but the staff just blatantly said, no. so, like a good obedient rookie girlgroup, the winning team of course have to keep their composure and continue their part: variety. the reactions of the losing team is what the viewers wants, and thats what they gave. sowon was sneaky for giving them meat through appeal, and two pieces are pretty generous. and when the meat is almost finished, sowon asked for another serving after watching the losing team's appeals, which give in favor for the show, so the staff agreed. sowon was smart to make them do appeal. and i think the other people who say that she isnt a good leader, here is a quote from sinb:
"unnie(sowon) is a 200/100 leader."
Moremm what a toxic unpopular opinion you have though. Sinb is being honest and sowon is being a sport. If your a true buddy you should know that by now. Atleast sinb doesn't hide it, being sulky and upset in a situation that obviously disappointing. Imagine watching a group doing everything by script, wow what kind of group do you stan.
And again quoting sinb: "sowon unnie is 200/100 a leader."

Being a leader is usually based on her personality as a whole and how she makes her group united and organized.... So for me Sowon is the best for the position.... She really cares about the other members....
I think Eunha was sick when they were doing this, that is why she hardly spoke in the show. It makes my heart hurt. Please don't get sick again ! I love you Eunha ! You are the cutest!!!
That was something to do with a positive test, the pressure was 240 over 140 at one point, instead of coming down to 176 over 108, it had gone up, then it was too slow to come down, but it was actually the manager's fault for doing nothing about 208 over 124.

Sowon did her best as a leader and also oldest unnie in the group. She keeps trying several times just so the other 3 members can also eat the pork together. It's obvious that the three winning member really feel bad for the losing team and want to share the meat together with them.

Everyone in the group deserved to be in the group, nothing more nothing less. Sowon is the perfect leader to GFRIEND, she is chosen by the people who created and formed GFRIEND as a group in the beginning and why judge her based on an episode alone, that's not fair. And I see some getting angry at the PDs for not giving the losing team to eat the meat. This is just a variety show, nothing should be taken so seriously, in the end they were still gotten to eat the meat together right?
I love the yacht version of Me Gustas Tu at the end lol. Sadly this show has ended. Huhu I need more variety shows of GFRIEND soon.

+Tom Hannah I understand your concerns towards the girls. But to be honest, I've seen worse than this done to another idols. Yup, we don't know what happens behind the scene, but not gonna lie, for idol groups they have very strict diet that even myself don't understand sometimes. Maybe that's just how the Korean's system on training the idols and 'forcing' them to diet, but we'll never understand why since we are outsiders tbh, just different cultures I guess.
And they've done this lots of times in any Korean variety shows, it's all the 'give and take' situation, if you wanna eat, then you have to earn it. What they did to GFRIEND here was just a light one, there are worse than this tbh.
Oh, ok, I just started watching variety shows with Gfriend... But here's the point i want to make. It looked like (from here, the other side of the world) that everybody and their hairdresser said go eat the Juju pork! And there was no mention of this penalty AT ALL prior to them sitting down to eat, salivating with the smells of it. Suddenly, someone gets the psychopathic idea that the penalty for losing (a dumb challenge to begin with) was You Can't Get Any Pork If You Lost. Like, WTF??? No warning AT ALL??? That was arbitrary and capricious to the extreme!
I went back and watched the rest, and it made me angry someone told them bad weather, no boat, you'll go clean an aquarium instead... WTF??? Someone in charge has a vicious sense of humor, teasing them like that. I love Gfriend, but hate whoever does that stupid, mean shit. Fire him!!!
Maybe that's why i don't go to parties. :) But speaking of parties, the many staff following them around are at work, they can't party. So i just wonder if some people have some ill feeling towards the girls, like: they don't have to work, even their food is made for them. People all over the world hang on their every little aegyo. They're on a pedestal, so some people are gonna want to bring them down.

I just realised SinB is not only lookalike Jessica/Krystal but in this sgow she looks a lot like young Choi Jiwoo, the actress from drama Twenty Again. Seriously. She has that actress face in the whole 7eps. I keep thinking about who she is resemble to and finally found its Choi Jiwoo!
