Tuck doesn't eat any grapes, he is too busy looking for cucumbers and carrots. I do try my best to keep an eye on him and watch to make sure he doesn't get into anything that can harm him.😁🐕❤️
good! I was going to comment that sweet Tuck shouldn't eat grapes! I love your channel-I've learned from you but you are also very inspiring. I think of you when my little terrier steals my snaps peas. :)
James, I just love watching how excited and happy you are in your garden. It really shows that you are doing what brings you joy. An awesome lesson for the rest of us. Do what you love and life will reward you with joy.
I'm so envious! My poor garden has drowned. We've had over 10" of rain in the last 48 hours. Northern Florida has had so much rain over the summer and it's too much for the plants. SAD Glad to see yours is doing great! Gives me hope.
Fellow New Jersey gardener here! Hello James and Tuck from SOUTH Jersey, down by the shore! You’re good forest is GARDEN GOALS! Absolutely LOVE YOUR CHANNEL and ALL YOUR VIDEOS, I have learned SO MUCH! Thank you!
James you must be very popular in your neighborhood. With all that produce you are growing in that phenomenal food forest, you can feed your own family and all of the neighbors and still have some left over! If there were a gardening Olympics you and Tuck would take all the gold medals!
Hi James have you ever thought about installing bee hotels for solitary bees in your food forest? I heard solitary bees are way more productive than regular bees and some of them even specialise in specific plants such as apple trees!
I stopped raising honey bees years ago and now have so many native bees that are better pollinators in my opinion. The bumble bees are out in the rain and so happy I made the change. Great video James and the abundance is amazing! 🌱😁👍
I have learned so much from you and Tux. I adore seeing tux each week. I LOVE HIM. You are not to mad yourself! lol. Thank you for inspiring us. This year my bell peppers and tomatoes are amazing! I have never been able to do what I was blessed with this year.
Ohhh wowww James you look extra spritely and excited in this video.Tuck knows he is a superstar, the camera just loves him.I love seeing him pick and munch on his own vegies ...beautiful garden/awesome video ❤💯
Sooo inspiring! I used to be active in the garden, but age and age-related health issues have made it real challenging for me to maintain a large garden. However, I still manage to keep a small raised edible garden that is fenced-in to keep the neighborhood moose and wild rabbits out and flowers that I had a helper plant for me outside the house and garage. You just appeared on my page and I’m so glad. I find your videos to be interesting, inspiring and loaded with valuable gardening tips. So thank you and stay blessed. Looove your pup as well. 🐶 What a great little companion he is in the garden ~ and he loves cucumbers! He’s a riot.
Your harvests are always stunning! Can't wait for our garden to be as productive as yours. Your videos are always a great inspiration! Thanks for sharing.
Hi James this is Michelle I've watched you for years and I am thankful to you for taking such a good care of Tuck Please watching him with the grapes I Noticed that He is smelling and licking them
I admire your fabulous-looking food forest and I admire all your work and passion that went into it ❤❤ of course I admire Tuck too, such a handsome little guy ❤
Hi Sir, Thank you for sharing your gardening videos. I am enjoying watching it. You are very fortunate for having a healthy abundant fresh fruits and vegetables you are amazing! May God Continue to bless you . thank you again. very much appreciated . watching you from Michigan
i hope i have success like these gardeners i watch constantly in youtube.. .. i love love gardening and learning a lot from you all.. thank you for sharing your knowledge
Oh the caped gooseberry, I can tell you exactly what it taste like. A unique combination of tomato, grass and sugar!!! I cant stand them. I grew them, so excited last year, and when I finally tasted one I gagged. I was so sad, I tryed three more times on different days with the same result. Blerk! You either love them or hate them I was told. Hahahaha. We love your videos so much, my kids love your energy and excitement. I'm planning my garden now in Melbourne Australia ready for spring. This will be my second year with trees, and hopefully maybe fruit this year.
Sounds like the plants were nutrient deficient; they have a sweet pineapple-like flavor when ripe, nothing like tomato or grass, but there's always plenty of other fruits to try instead
@@TheRealHonestInquiry oh I'd be suprised if they were, they were huge, healthy and incredibly prolific. I prepared the soil well and fed regularly as I do.with all my plants. I have a very strong sense of smell and taste though so that doesn't help lol tryed them at all different times, ripeness etc. Def not pinapple ish. Lol it was the golden nugger dwarf variety, maybe that's the difference.
caped gooseberries! thats what we call your 'ground cherries'. one of the marvellous things that just pop up.. so good as a kid opening up the little wrapped parcels..
I would love to see the full garden from above, that captures the entire food Forest you have there. And/or a drawing of the full garden to get a perspective of what is growing where. How it's laid out. I could watch you go through there pointing out even more of what's growing in it, the video ended too soon for me, lol! But it would be nice to see how it's laid out in a sketch/drawing/diagram. Perhaps you've shown this already on a prior video, if so, please let me know which video it is. Just one of the most abundant Food Forest garden I've ever seen! Love love love this way of having a variety of food right at your fingertips. Your work in this garden is paying you huge dividends! Well deserved dividends.
The main reason we moved to the outskirts and got a mortgage (when having a perfectly fine paid for appartament in the city) was I needed to be able to go out and pick good quality organic food right from my garden. There is nothing more satisfying than seeing my whole family having dinner right there in the garden. Although our dog was raised on dog food and is not interested in veggies and fruits available. He only goes into the garden to find a cool spot to lie down :)
Love this!!! You inspire me everyday. The apples, peaches and all your fruits & veg's look amazing.!🌱😊💕🐕💕 I had lots of sunflowers last year. 😘 Going to keep watching... Thank you.
Always great videos. You seem to be the best example of gardening and learning on any of the channels that I've seen. Always a pleasure to see your videos. You're doing a great job and I appreciate you. Thank you.
Have you considered selling baskets of produce to locals during peak harvests! I am sure people would love to get fresh, organic produce from a local grower
1. My honeydrops are much bigger, between a cherry and a saladette. 2. Rosella is my fav cherry mater, with Pink Tiger and Agi Red making the top three. Thrilled you like it too! 3. Your harvest videos are the reason I joined your channel. Another great one, thanks so much!
Lets gooooo!!! Amazing Tuck❤❤❤❤ Good Harvest Sir James!!! I just harvested my Cherry Tomatoes, Sweet Green Bell Pepper and Jalapeños!!! It's so fun to harvest!!! Thanks for sharing Sir James and Tuck!!! We out!!!!!
Beautiful garden harvest James. I'm also an avid gardener, love harvesting the fruits of my labour. I'm sure your family and friends look forward to fresh fruit and veggies from your garden. I like preserving (you guys in the US call it canning) my harvest when I have an excess but I also do give some to my family when possible. Enjoy watching your videos. thanks
Preserving in the US is a broad term that encompasses all the different ways you can extend the shelf life of food whether canning, fermenting, dehydrating, freeze-drying, etc.
@@TheRealHonestInquiry thanks for the explanation. In Australia we generally call it preserving which also covers the different types of food keeping. I’m wanting to also try dry freezing, seems to be another great way to preserve food. Anyway, keep the great videos coming as I always enjoy watching them. Take care. Thanks again
Weiwww ..my goodness what a harvest. You and your garden are realy realy good. Im so impress how i wish my garden can grow such an incredible production Cobgratulations job well done.
Sincerely, Aunt Molly's Ground Cherry will be an absolute STAPLE of my garden from this point on! As they ripen, they taste just like Kool-Aid with a slight fatty aftertaste just like a ripe homegrown tomato would have.
Thanks so much for sharing what you do. My family already thinks my garden is too big but I would love for my whole yard to be a forest of food. I love how Tuck loves his veggies!
Tuck doesn't eat any grapes, he is too busy looking for cucumbers and carrots. I do try my best to keep an eye on him and watch to make sure he doesn't get into anything that can harm him.😁🐕❤️
I was gonna say!
You and Tuk are so sweet💖
Thank God!!!!🥰💓👍
wow, there are so many harvests in the garden, fruits and vegetables, must have a garden. Very creative, very cool.

Same here in S. Florida, for the past month my plants are either drowning or wilting form the horrible heat!
Oh no! 😩
Glad there's still food at the store!
same in ct we had horrible flooding and around 60% of my tomatoes died and all of my potatoes were underwater and got killed
You and Tuck are master gardeners. Your baby is so cute. It amazes me every time I see him harvest and eat from the garden. So sweet.🙂
Absolutely LOVE your enthusiasm & energy when you harvest your treasures! Epic garden James! 💙 Tuck !! 🍀
