    I ask "what benefit to me would it be to buy now?" A mortgage is just debt... And lots have been doing the leverage game.. time for those who are gambling to take their losses.

      No benefit at all. Buyers are losing money every month. Not worth it. Condo fees are extremely high, taxes, vacancy tax and whatever rip off taxes you can think of that the government has implemented....

    Buy now because my #1 Team needs to have steady employment, while the circumstances are full of fear. FOMO is also what most buyers fall for.

    i saw today they want to send back 4.9 million temporary residents so there is no rush to buy a house.

      That is an exaggeration, most of those people will either extend the work permit, or get permanent residence. Maybe 1M will leave the country

    The best time to buy is when you are ready.
    Do the math, work out your income versus expenses, and determine if you can really afford the house, and not because your friend or neighbour is purchasing a house.
    The math never lies...it is the reality
    Buy only if you can afford it, because after your purchase, the Real estate agennts, mortgage broker and lawyers get paid, but you are on the hook to make your monthly payments🙏🏾

    For years buyers complained that it was a seller's market and that the sellers had all of the leverage. Now that it's finally a buyer's market they still want to sit on the fence and wait. If you want to buy a house now is the time because it's still a buyer's market but it won't be forever
