Hello ISAB! As of a week ago, I am a software engineer, and in the last week, I have learned enough about programming that I’m pretty sure I could learn how to mod in BTD6. This video intrigued me since I can tell that the only thing stopping the process from being easy and fast is the hero xp and ability cooldowns. I foresee this will be an ongoing series, and I would be enthralled knowing how much time I could save you throughout the years. I’m going to make this mod as absolutely fast and easy to use as possible, and I’m thinking I might be able to make it work inside of sandbox mode so that you can just use it on your main account with no other mods. I will also ensure that the mod has no other dependencies. I don’t know how long this will take me, but I predict it could be finished within a week.
Im not asking for a response by the way, I am going to make this mod and consult Reddit or something to get in contact with you when I’m finished. It sure would be a shame if ISAB himself were reading this right now and my Discord tag were conveniently my RUclips handle with the “SB” replaced with “GD”. And then ISAB were to send me a friend request, and I would then DM him myself when I were finished.

0:10 actually I usually think "how did you manage to get all the same towers on the same round and end up like $1500 off"
Every update has some Price changes if he uses a different version than the submission that will affect the Money.
And discount Village, the earlier you place the discount, the more money you save, he uses 5x Attackspeed for setup so he can get away with the discount much earlier.
Also some people buy hero lvls to pass a round if it's cheap, i think sometimes even less than 20$
I've also heard that there are some weird calculations with regrow bloons if certain layers are skipped, which causes the occasional less than 100 dollar differences, not sure if it is true though
Quick tip (just noticed it myself) when you dont know the crosspath from the wizard, look at his hands. The tier 3 upgrades wear gloves..... I hate myself xD

Dear mr. isab sir. I think it may be good to update the survey to have a dropdown for level and cash. That way you can see in the spreadsheet right away to filter on levels you don't find interesting (I imagine super low cash or super low level may also be boring). It might also be good to have a hero level drop down (with a 0 option for no hero) so that you can quickly see all the level 20 heroes which may make it easier for you if you start with those. Feel free to ignore all my advice also if you don't think it would be useful.
Takes a lot of work, but it's an extremely cool series! Seeing what challenges others do is cool, it gives me a wide variety of strategies I can try for my own challenge runs, and it's fun seeing you have to break out the micro. I hope the series sticks around.

I'm not familiar with BTD6 Modding, but isn't there a mod to set the level of a hero?
Otherwise, couldn't the btd hero experience calculator be used to determine the amount of money you need to get the hero to the desired level?
This way you could do runs in the challenge editor, although you would still have to start a couple rounds earlier in case you have to deal with ability timing.
thinking about the challenge creator, can't you use that with the money normally gained from the round + enough money to level up the hero to the right level (using the calculator for that) so you can skip the first 90 or so rounds, buy all the defense you might need and then use the last 1/2 levels to go for cooldowns (though taking a look at this video, it might just take about the same time as it does using mods

That placement would've been fine, had he went bottom path and use sub / shimmer for decamo
@@kevin-7091 in my experience you can place an ace village and alch there for discounts and camo detection on increased fire rate

You should ask someone who knows how to make mods to make a mod for you that lets you do this more easily.
i thought you used challange editor with a mod that makes you choose the ability's cooldown
Couldn't you just use editor, and do the math on the money? Start the editor on the round you want with the money. Just get how much money youd have on that round total, and add money to get the hero to the level you want.
Or the round before for ability reasons.

isnt there a mod somewhere you could use to edit your money? because pretty sure any type of wave-skipping mod could work instead of playing through it all. althought could be troublesome with heroes level.

Can you not just make a costume challenge and put it 1 round before just for the abilities - and for the money just calculate how much money the previous round gives you.

That color is magenta unless I'm also blind.
@@-BasicKal Some people call it Magenta because of printer companies or whatever being afraid of the idea of a vibrant Pink, but Magenta is already the name for the colour between Pink and Purple, plus when talking about hue it has to transfer to tints and shades (Not including Brown which consumes every dark warm colour) so yeah
