I've been playing BTD6 for a while now, got about 600 hours on Steam. But this last Lich event was my first time seriously attempting a boss fight, because people were saying it was relatively normal. So to go from that to *this* was just uncalled for 😂
So godly, Its been awhile since i've done an elite boss. Haven't since this Vortex one came out. A couple OG Liches in there but other than that, Im slacking. Fun to watch though. Great video king.
I think that Ninja Kiwi is *still* getting revenge back at us when we called Vortex easy The biggest hurdles, even with monkey knowledge were tier 2 and 5 (not saying the others weren't difficult) tier 2 made me rethink my defense and start over again, and tier 5 I went with an ace paragon maximalist defense. Not the best idea because of the micro needed, I had a degree 20ish boat and degree 1 sub paragon with everything else going into ace. And even with my advantage over you, Vortex got to the same place that you did Man, what a week, so NK. When's the next brutal week because in the great saying "Nah I'd win"
i started doing more elite bosses after getting comfortable with clearing normal ones. talk about an insane mix up, 280% phayze, lych, and no paragon bloonarius did not prepare me for this monster
I beat elite vortex this week with sub, boat and ace paragons for tier 5 by abusing the fact that final strike and carpet bomb can damage vortex through the shield to trigger 2 skulls at once meaning less time not being able to damage vortex. Because of the lower health of vortex the abilities combined were able to deal enough damage to trigger the next skull, so it was like 1 of the skulls didn't have a shield.
I was having problems with getting past tier 1. It would say popped tier 1 but then there was an invisible vortex still going around. I posted a video of it on my channel. I spent so much monkey money trying to see if it was just me but nope it kept doing that every time. Couldn’t go past round 41. I tried restarting my phone and seeing if that would help but it didn’t. Once I popped vortex there would then be an invisible vortex towards the end of the track. It got so frustrating and after spending $20,000 monkey money I finally just quit. I wonder if anyone else ran into this.
NK needs to add some sorta respawn pass to bosses (meaning you gotta pay the penalty only once for 40/60/80/100/120 respawn), had to quit on tier 2 after using like 6k monkey money.
I spent 4k money on powers... what a good way to scare newcomers from mr beast video. @@Mooeatsgrass I am pretty sure ranked mode is supposed to be that. no powers. And you're against other good players.. The normal/non ranked boss shouldn't be this hard, so I think your 3rd option is a pretty good idea
