Hi, I have decided yours is my favorite kitchen, so comfortable and functional. Love the table, the stove like no other one & the black factory-paned giant window, door. I have just put in a black factory window 60 X 67 and it has changed the whole vibe of my white kitchen. Adds real personality. Thanks for your calm voice & how you explained what works best for you. I adore your tours around your area of CA. I told my friends my giant window was inspired by this kitchen in Pasadena. Thank you for being here. P. S. I started my transferware collection about 8 years ago and love it too. Mostly blue and white, but I like all colors.
Donna!! I am, or should I say, my kitchen is, honored to be the inspiration for the addition of your factory window. Way to make a statement - good for you! I'd love to see your transferware collection. Thanks so much for coming by & for your kind comment. x
Thank you for the spring inspiration tour of your kitchen! I've been cooking all day and have had a chance to sit down and watch.....(sigh). I love your style; warm, inviting and cozy.

Beautiful kitchen and spring decor. You've decorated it beautifully and I can see why you have visitors (not to mention the super comfy looking chair). Tfs!
Hello there Kelly :-). It's Foxy speaking and what a tremendous house tour for the spring of 2020. Well it will soon be the summer of 2020 starting on the 21st June 2020 as a lot of us know but several believe this differently. It's ok though :-). I really do like the tours of your home Kelly :-). Especially this one :-). I liked the old fashioned stove and the old fashioned painting seen in your video Kelly. I very much prefer the old fashioned looking stoves compared the newly modern ones Kelly I think the old fashioned stoves look a lot nicer. Plus it was nice to see the dogs again looking cute as always :-). Well thanks so much for sharing this lovely video of yours Kelly it was certainly soulful like your channel background is :-). Alright then, have a nice day Kelly, plus I wish you all the best and take care of yourself Kelly :-D :-). From your friend Foxy :-).

I love your kitchen. It looks so beautiful and cozy. Your stove is to die for. Well worth getting it repaired. Lucky that they left it in the kitchen when they sold the house. Love seeing a new video from you . Have a great day.
Hello sweet Kelly on the West Coast! I’m sure your State is just like my State of New York! Crazy.....! You have been missed! So glad to know all is well and wonderful to see you and hear your voice! Thanks for sharing your amazing kitchen with us... love it when you INVITED US IN! God bless and stay healthy 🙏❤️❤️🙏
Hi Jayne! So nice to hear from you. Glad you enjoyed the tour. I do not think I knew you are in New York. I am from NY. I was headed to Sag Harbor for a week in June, but sadly had to cancel. Where are you city, the island, upstate...?
My Soulful Home Well Hello fellow New Yorker !!! I’m in Central New York - Below Utica and between Hamilton and Cooperstown! A little town called Brookfield. Oh Sag Harbor ... the gentleman that bought our old home is from the Hamptons. He wishes he could escape and get up here! He is in Secret Service protecting all the big wigs down there. So he is in the thick of it down on the Island! He said it is like something he has never seen. Him and his son and step son ( Bill O’Rielly’s boy ) love coming up to our place in the country! Spencer ( Bill’s boy) would love to move up here permanently! So..yes I am sure your trip is cancelled! We are far away from it,, but are being treated like we are sitting in the middle of it. Cuomo sitting on his high horse! King Cuomo is what most of New York call him. Did you grow up downstate? How did you manage to escape! LOL!!!!! I was born and raised in the house I’m living in. When my parents passed,, my husband and I moved into my family home. Not quite as amazing as yours, but beautiful to me!
HI Roberta - thank you so much for coming by! My cabinets are paint grade wood. The primer & first coat were sprayed on - the final coat brush painted. I like the look of the brush strokes.
Kelly, I have no idea why your video popped up and I did end up watching it! You have a beautiful home and collection of wonderful pieces! I love, loveeee the windows next to the chair with the pop of black! I'll be back to watch more after I struggle to give my dog a bath, even though I'm sure he'll pull me in with him! : ) My favorite thing is Edith!! She's just the cutest.. 💛🐕🧡

Always love a tour through your lovely kitchen...once again, we have so many things in common with what we use and love but I must say my favorite decor piece this time is that lovely botanical print in the black frame hung on your kitchen window...it’s perfectly placed and ties everything together. Oh and I’ve got that Shaw farm sink in our beach house and also have issues but still love it just the same...we really need to chat😉

Hi Kelly, what are your thoughts on displaying family photos? I have a few of my family that have passed in my bedroom and on a hutch in my dining room and considering the idea making a grandchild picture display in the same room. I have 5 grandchildren who live out of state. Thank you for taking the time to read.
Hi Roxanne - Great question! Displaying family photos is a wonderful way to infuse a personal touch into your decor. Our homes should be a reflection of what we love, so what better than framed family photos displayed tastefully. My suggestions is to curate the best of the best, display a framed photo in a vignette with other items, or group 3 similar or same framed photos together on a table. More than 3 is a bit overwhelming. If displaying 3 together have them all color or all black & white and choose different sized frames - say 2 5x7 and one 3x5. If you are displaying the photos on a wall, if it is all photos I might suggest a grid with all the same color & sized frames. If you are creating a mix gallery wall, then use photos and other wall decor in a looser arrangement. Hope this makes sense & helps! Thank you for coming by to visit!! :)
I loveeeee your stove it reminds me of my grandma stove she had a cast iron one sum of the best cornbread and pinto beans you would ever eat and best baked sweets
What a gorgeous fern in a "bowl" Does this fern get enough drainage in this container? I have yet to keeping try a fern indoors. Did you know you can paint your knife holder with chalk paint-I love seeing them painted? What a wonderful sitting area/porch off of your kitchen proper...so envious!!
Hey Donna - what a great idea re: the knife holder! The fern remains in the nursery container with the drainage holes. I water it in the sink 1 x a week & spray the fronds as well. Thank you for coming by and for your great tip!
