By servicing himself more than the music. He's masturbating in front of the orchestra. So much meaningless gesturing. He's very young, so hopefully he'll grow out of it. He does seem to be developing as this is certainly much better than some of his earlier conducting. And Peltokoski, please, for God's sake, get a stylist and a tailor.@@notarbolz926
@@notarbolz926if you listen the whole recording of this you will know. Name a few examples, 2nd movement the tempo is 138bpm, however he played much faster(around 155bpm) and added many rubati which were not indicated on the score. 3bars before rehearsal number 70 on the score, there are 3 woodwind tremolo indicated with accent, however he played as pianoforte instead. In finale movement number133 he made a “subito piano”to the brass, again not on the score. I believe there is space for conductors on recreation. But one should know this is Shostakovich’s fifth symphony, not Peltokoski’s fifth symphony.
He don't understand this music. Like several young conductors. They conduct for surprised the public 🎉
