I know what you mean girl! I told them I didn't feel like I was numb, but they proceeded! I felt that scalpel cut from right to left! I remember breaking out into these big sweat drops all over! I was tied down during all of thisi. And of course I was telling out it hurt! I heard the doctor say knock her out, right after they got my baby out. So yes I got ya girl! Been there!!!

I have 2 (normal vaginals) and I'd do it all again for them 🤰I mean, when you're in the thick of it, it can be overwhelming as the hormones and emotions surge through your body, but trust me... once you have your baby and their warm skin touches yours, the pregnancy and the labor, will feel like a dream that never happened, but you can still remember it (if that makes sense lol).
With respect to the story, that is traumatic and I'd understand if she'd never want to be pregnant again, I probably wouldn't, but it's also pretty rare (for those watching).

That reminds me of my OB/G training when I was in nursing school, just to confirm you a lot of new moms experience a trumtic delivery and it's nothing you should feel guilty about its a result of uncontrolled factors, it's common and it do happens, the good thing is that you sake medical advice it will help you go through it.

Breaks foot in three places doesn't complain gets in wreck barely complains has a fever acts like is dying yep all three happened to me and in that order the wreck mostly sore most painful was the top of feet the first few days till the bruises popped up me and the other person walked away with me with bruises and a little sore the other guy hurt his hand mom came out the worse cracked collarbone but the vehicles came out the worse his even more his entire front was almost gone up to the radiater that was leaking and he wanted to drive it off the Subaru our vehicle was going nowhere broken back axle at the speed he was going on impact if he had hit us in the front not back we would have died about 10 feet from where my great aunt and uncle lost their lives my aunt who is actually my cousin is their only child my grandparents took guardianship of her so she's basically an aunt

It reminds me of the story that my mom told me on the day I was born when she was alive. According to what she told me, the doctors had to cut me out of her. And when they did, my mom said that she and my dad heard me crying. And when the doctors gave me to my mom and my mom held me in her arms, my mom looked at me and then, she looked at my dad. And she said, You made me a mommy.

Zack The Finn at first I guess they didn’t know if I was numb from the waist down cuz when they started cutting with the scalpel I felt it and I even told said I could feel it, they had to stop to pump more medicine into my IV and asked to wiggle my feet until I couldn’t be able to move them to know I wouldn’t feel or move anything, just still remember the feeling of lots of pressure also tugging and pulling that it hurt so much I was tabbing with my hand to cope with the pain the anesthesiologist hold my hand down so I don’t move... I felt like I was gonna throw up but I guess that’s the feeling u get when they are stuffing your organs back.

I'm short too (5'1) and I went into labor at 38 weeks and my son was 8lb 4oz. For me, I wanted a vaginal delivery. BUT my son was face up and not face down, and due to his size - I had to have an episiotomy. I felt the entire delivery, and as they were giving me stitches, I kept sobbing in pain because I felt the needle stabbing me over and over down there. They kept trying to up my epidural which obviously wasn't working, and finally gave me a local that numbed me AFTER acting like I was just being a big baby... :( I only had 1 kid....don't think I'd ever want to go through childbirth again

I asked my mom how i was born and she said the procedure were like video. But not just once but for 3 more times for my other siblings. No wonder my mom was stronger when it comes to small cuts because she have experienced more painful cuts than regular small cuts( like paper cuts etc.)
