Death is one of those bands that never released a bad album. Definitely try that Individual Thought Patterns. For years I didn’t listen to that one much. But one day, I really sat down to listen to it while reading the lyrics, and now it’s one of my favorites. Cool video ! 🤗

I think the cassettes all look cool. I'd still be happy to own them even already having almost all of them on CD. I'm still missing Thought Patterns and Sound of Perseverance. My favorite albums are Spiritual Healing, Leprosy and Human. Too bad Roadrunner Records wouldn't grant permission for Release records to reissue Symbolic on their label as well.
Death never gets old. They remind me of led zeppelin. I won't listen to them for awhile, but once I do again, it's refreshing and I fall inlove with them as if it was my first time hearing them. Real strong discography and potent music.
I'm like that love zeppelin. but go sometime from listening to them. in record store they are on . I'm like yeah they are do good. lol

I have Death Leprosy the original back in the 90s. The inlay has lyrics.

My only hiccup with the Death Cassettes was the Plastic cases felt wrong. So I went out to the thrift shop and Bought some old cassettes
As a 52-year old metalhead, I looooved the cassette era. Unfortunately, they have a limited life span. I don't even play the cassettes in my demo collection anymore. However, bands like Vio-Lence and S.O.D. sold a few extra copies because I wore those out and replaced them promptly as a teenager.

Yeah, about 1200 cassettes and way too many cds- you know how it is, we metalheads tend to accumulate lots of stuff. My favorites are cassettes and vinyl with unusual packaging- like the Slayer blood discs (with the fake blood and plastic graphics floating around), the Vio-Lence "Vomit EP" (which once had fake puke enclosed within a clear sleeve, but the packaging cracked and it dried up), and the Carcass Heartwork hospital fixture display that was issued to stores with the original release.

Very cool collection, but they could have included the lyrics. Our friend Chuck(rip) made a bunch of great music. My favourite album is by far Spiritual healing. Nevertheless, enjoyable upload!
I didn't even know about the release. I hope they do it with Obituary, Morbid Angel, Carcass, Cannibal Corpse, Broken Hope, Bolt Thrower, and so many other wonderful old school Death Metal Bands. :)
Congrats! When I checked the online store quite after the announcement, all coloured tapes were sold out. I was about to ordered the white ones, but I've got all Death's firsts releases in tape already, so I decided to give the chance to others to enjoy all these masters pieces :)

I find it cool that cassettes are making a comeback i dont know what it is but just something about the sound quality cassette i just like better than spoitfy i dont know mabey im just over the super thin digital sound

so there are no lyrics given out in the tape versions? I'm just searching for some info about tapes since my new debuting album is out to on a tape release soon. I guess it depends on the label to be deciding the page layouts

There's a bit of almost like vinyl noise but with good headphones they sound good

@@emmelieherwegh who is next Morbid angel,the first 6 albums til formulas fatal to the flesh is masterpiece,i love firsts 4 songs of formulas,i love the drumming of kommandoz Sandoval ,for me the best drummer and the riffing of azagthoth.Morbid angel is the Emperors of Death metal,really very good band .Do you like psychedelic rock bands like Hawkwind,you must listen Master of the universe,is the best song.

Nice catch. And I know the feeling. You want to order something, but you wait a few seconds, and it's gone 😕 I love the "Individual thought patterns" album. If you love "Symbolic" then you have to love "Individual thought patterns" too 👍🤘 I haven't been to a Metal Record Fair yet, but I hope that I can go to a M.R.F. soon
