Hi Ben. Thanks for posting. Thinking of getting the same car but not found much info yet on getting remap done in the UK. Where was your's done and would you recommend them? Car will be 99% road use. Thanks
Mine was mapped by DervTech in Manchester, Cant fault them, the car has been great since

Was booked through Javelin track days. Check their site and they have many different tracks and dates.
I have heard that the stock pads in the gti is the ferodo ds performance. How would they perform with stock fluid on a brake-heavy track like this?
Yes they are ds performance, not a track pad, just a premium road pad. The DS range of ferodo are track pads.
what's the exhaust? what are the mods?
Miltek exhaust, decat pipe, forge motorsport intercooler, panel filter, remap.
@@bengodney what sort of performance is it and have you had many issues with the 308gti? Greta driving at the spa 👌🏾
@@46holl just under 300 bhp. I've had no issues in 3 years of ownership apart from the common brake caliper issue.
