As someone noted, their cover of Say Something is very emotional, as is their original, Run to You. Dancing on My Own, a Robin cover, is also sad both in terms of the song itself, as well as the fact that it was done after Avi left but before Matt joined the group. Another original that hits you in the Feels is Thank You. It has a Christmas theme but is appropriate to play at any time of the year.
Oh my gosh. Don't think I've ever been somewhat speechless after one of your reactions, but this one did it. lol. Most reactions to this I've watched the reactors are blown away, in the most positive ways, but to each their own. Kevin and Avi wrote this one. This is EDM style and I love this original. As you said, it's obviously set in the future. Avi is a robot, hence the staring into your soul but showing no emotion. He and Kevin's drops are everything. Love your genuine reactions and we don't always have to agree. Thats the glorious thing about it. Look forward to the next one. 🥰
This video was their follow-up to Daft Punk, which may help explain why they went for the far-out makeup and costumes. Also, Mitch is a big EDM fan, and while Avi and Kevin were the primary songwriters, Mitch did have some input. If you like the song, there is video of an interview they did where they performed the song live, no costumes, no makeup (other than for the interview). Just search YT for "Pentatonix Love Again Live 24/7".

Avi’s solo work is absolutely amazing.
My conspiracy theory.....👽👽👽👽👽's. You two are so fun, keep up the great work!
Sad? Watch the cover of 'Say Something'. The acting!
Sad songs? Originals - Run To You.
Covers - Dancing On My Own, Say Something.
Mad World is pretty sad too, although on an existential level rather than romantic.
LOVE IT! 🤣

Sad songs Pentatonix, Say Something, Shallow. 👍
Run to you is a ptx original that is more on the sad side.
If you want to be IN with Pentatonix then you would be a part of SEXATONIX. That's a very good joice.
Those sounds were mostly Kevin, not Avi.
Nobody will have a more beautiful voice than Mitch. He got super blessed by God 😅. He sounds like an angel 😇
This one is an Original .
