Muskrat Trapping Video #4 FUNNEL TRAP

The Manitoba Wildlife Federation is proud to announce our How-To Muskrat trap video series.
The objective of this video series is to create trapping videos that can be distributed easily, accessible to all and used as a teaching resource in trapping mentorship programs and as an additional resource to the Trappers Education course. This is the fourth video in our 6 part series, focusing on how to successfully set Funnel traps.
The Manitoba Wildlife Federation is passionate about educating members and the general public about conservation, habitat and resources, as well as safe and ethical outdoor activities such as angling, hunting and trapping. Much like hunting in Manitoba, our province has seen a significant decline in trapping license sales over the last few decades. Resources that adhere to the younger generations, including trapping mentorship programs or accessible How-to trapping videos, are very limited. There is a need to fill this educational gap and create trapping videos that can be distributed easily, that are accessible to all, and used as a teaching resource in trapping mentorship programs or the Trappers Education course.
