How to measure and adjust bump steer (also called roll steer or bumpsteer) using a ‪@MaximumMotorsports‬ bump steer gauge. Step by step how to record the measurements with a dial indicator to get the bump steer curve. A few short cuts and how to adjust the spacer stack to get faster results. Example is an ‪@ford‬ Mustang IRS with ‪@KennybrownPerformance‬ suspension.

Great video. I made my own tool based on what you have. Zero bump steer would be great but what would be an acceptable range to strive for?

I think Maximum Motorsports recommends less than 0.050" per 0.5" of bump travel. But, you can usually get it well under that.

Can you explain the “toe 1” and “toe 2”
Measurements in your excel file. Where/which side? I am confused as there is only 1 dial?

Oh, good question. They're just two "measurement sweeps" to get an average. Basically, do the procedure twice and get an average to minimize errors.
