I am glad you liked it, seems like you "get it," I would be interested to hear your thoughts on the preceding album A Umbra Omega, it is my personal favorite and I feel that it sets the bar unreasonably high not only for their peers but for themselves as well. I was very pleased with Black Medium Current for this reason
Just listened to the album, and it's SO good. I didnt think they could follow up A Umbra Omega, but the new one just gets better as it goes along. I went in expecting to be weirder, so pleased they added more black metal back into their sound. The most experimental they've been and it really pays off. I'm going to be listening to it a lot 😁
This is on La masquerade infernale level here, maybe better. Time will tell. For me I dare to say top 10 metal albums of all time. I deliver this to time
Expected this to be a weird journey, not disappointed! A Umbra Omega is one of my favorite albums, so they'll probably never surpass, but this is a great follow up. It's a lot more depressive than Umbra with more experimentation. I think you'll like the band Dir En Grey if you havn't already for more weird and unsettling stuff. Uroboros, Dum Spiro Spero, and Arche are considered their holy trinity albums with a lot more experimentation.

You should check their old stuff out, all of it, and their related bands like ved buens ended and aura noir ✌️
You should react to "Mammoth" by King Buffalo. They're a stoner/psychedelic progressive rock band. They're fantastic
