Roll control is considered meta for engineer, mostly due to the stun and crowd control including flying enemies, which fits the engi role well. With plasma trail you can also clear swarmers ect. For me hyperalloy is viable but im not much of a fan of the recoil so it feels limited for longer range targets. But for up close targets like wardens, prets, and some goobers its weakspot damage is really useful.
I do use Aichi's Beer Selector mod.io/g/drg/m/aichis-beer-selector#2965513 but it just allows you to select which special beer to buy rather than randomly.

@@DarthSyphilis Why did you take T4B on the SMG? Are Hollow Points additive with Hyperalloy's crit bonus while Conductive Bullets are multiplicative?
My logic was that you can get the +25% pretty easily without having to worry about hitting weakpoints. You can take T4A as well.
