  • In this video we're listening to some more Led Zeppelin. This is easily one of our favourite bands, and we could not be more excited to hear this track. Let's get the 'led' out! Enjoy!

That's what made them the greatest of all time in my opinion. Their diversity. Hard rock. Rock. Blues. Folk. They could do it all and were so diverse. They're all great. Bonzo is a God and Page is a genius

Thanks for reacting to this. I’m glad you enjoyed it. This is my favorite song off this album. That samba mid section is just some next level stuff. Interestingly Billy Joel is a big Zeppelin fan. Who isn’t though? Keep getting the Led out! Check out the Rain Song by them… or anything really.

Bonzo at his best, there's a couple of isolated tracks of this on youtube, one with just the drums, one with the rhythm section, both pretty mind blowing .
Absolutely ripe for sampling, but I've never heard of anyone using this

Yep by the time of "In through the out door" they had become very experimental particularly with the synthesiser sounds but still genius. JPJ had a much bigger influence on this album because Jimmy had a raging heroin habit by this time...i believe this was one of the reasons why he was so critical of this album's direction but i still like the album and it's up there with the others in my opinion.

The four were put together by destiny! It will never happen again for a while! We could only pray it happens again!

This song was Led Zeppelin's very last Top 40 hit in America. The song peaked at the #21 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in the early winter of 1980. By the way, this song didn't come from a movie. The song is very original and it's a banger of a song indeed!!!

@@CAdams6398 As long as you say so. I'm sure that if you worked with a family of musicians for more than a decade and one of them passed partway through the production of the next album you would have dismissed it as absolute garbage and flushed it into that swirling mass in the south pacific. You'd be right of course.
      Your opinion overrides mine because...
yours is just light years beyond mine. Let me sit beneath your benign oversight and just lap up your wisdom because, of course, likes and dislikes are not subjective at all and completely removed from impacts of loves, family and upbringing. Likes and dislikes are measureable and anything that doesn't fall within those confines should be rejected, shuttled into the ether where nobody will ever be polluted by their noxiousness ever again.

The only thing that kept Led Zeppelin interesting was their willingness to take on diverse material. Stuff like this I think has stood the test of time better than the meat and potatoes hard rock they became famous for. Jimmy Page was a spent force by this time, and hasn't really done anything worthwhile since. It's odd that the non-musician in the band, Robert Plant went on to become its most restless and creative off-shoot.

Page was in the firm with Paul Rodgers of Bad Company. They were decent. Also did an album with David Coverdale that was locked in some circles, but in retrospect had a lot of good songs on it. It's just when you've sung with one of the greatest rock vocalists ever, every thing you do is gonna pale in comparison. He's waited for Plant forever and except for a few shows here and there, nothing has or probably will happen.

Admittedly, I’m a part time Zep fan , ie I’ve never dived into the lesser known and liked album tracks , but this was shockingly poor to my ears . It’s got all the hallmarks of a song banged out as part of a record deal that was required rather than a Labour of love that needed to be born . That’s just my opinion so don’t set the hounds on me , I listened all the way through with my eyebrows at maximum arch and drool forming at the corner of my mouth in surprise initially but then disappointment. Sorry , but disappointment is the word that springs to mind after hearing this track .
