My secret for these is to have my front foot behind the bolts, i feel like it makes it easier to go up the wall and it helps with landing because my front foot usually slides forward a lot coming off the wall

remember when u just started skating and u didn't slide ur front foot on ollies and remember how u would lift up ur wheels when u hit a crack and the back wheels popped up. it is the same thing. do those 2 things together and go fast and u can do it

I learned them on a vertical pole with a wall behind it I think that’s a good way to learn them because there’s less risk of getting hurt and you can build up to launching out.
