- From December 1-2, 1994, the complete first twenty-four hours of programming on Game Show Network. This video includes the series Fantasy and Child's Play (56:45). Also includes all interstitial programming and commercials. Sorry about the sound.
Per Wikipedia "Fantasy" aired on NBC daytime from September 1982-October 1983.
Interesting that in 1983, 3 years after Five O went off the air, it was public knowledge that Jack Lord took up permanent residence in Hawaii. I didn't know until at least 1986.
Little known fact: Leslie Uggams won a Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Talk Show Host...a few years before Oprah.
Actually it was for "Outstanding Host in a Variety Series"
Very interesting how, in the channel's early days, the breaks contained only network promos/interstitials, PSAs and ads consisting strictly of those for Sony products/productions...speaking of PSAs, lost count of how many times they ran "Get High, Get Stupid, Get AIDS", the conservation one ("...act now, supplies are limited") and the domestic violence spot (officially titled "Neighbors", which I found out after stumbling across the script/storyboard in some TV book).
@57:15, PYL wouldn't debut on GSN until 2000
GSN presently airs the reboot of "Press Your Luck" which is hosted by Elizabeth Banks.
