On the topic of Shannox and totems, have you (or anyone in the comments) tried the ledge strat with ranged on top? For the love of me I can't force the fire elemental to stay on Shannox in any way, it just ping pong between all 3 targets.
And also, do you have any experience on being the guy who cleans the rageface from people? Like i know that with lavaburst its possible, but is it also with earth shock?
@@Schaumann69 Yes, I'm currently backup for facerage. I tried freeing the facerage target with earth shock back in PTR. It was enough when I tried it on 10m, but not on 25m for some reason. I stuck with Lava Burst since my guild raids 25m and I don't want to waste their time on Shannox when we coulduse it to prog Rag. If you have trouble freeing people with Burst, then start casting it 0.5-1s before the fojji/merfin/dbm timer and if you're the backup stop the cast if the player that's supposed to free wasn't targeted. Altho tbh eles are probably one of the worst DPS specs to handle the mechanic since Lava Burst is one of the slowest projectiles and we have shit mobility. If you're in a guild that respect you, then ask someone else to do it. I'm pretty much forced because I'm still treated as the "new" guy.

So, my group is made by 2bdk, hunter, disc priest, hpala, arms war, fire mage, ret pally, a feral and i, i think im the only one that can do it. And currently only doing progs on 10man, i think i will start to adopt the earth shock strat. What class do you think it will be optimal for this?
@@Schaumann69 If the mage can go arcane for just that fight that would be the best, since arcane blast has no travel time and it's basically most of their casts. Takes 30s to learn the rotation. Hunters were fine too in PTR, but I don't know which of their abilities hit hard enough to break facerage so you should probably ask your guildie if they have an ability that can crit for 30k with their current gear. Btw the reason I couldn't free people with earth shock in 25m is because the damage needed there is 45k. If you have a log, check how much your fulmination crits do. Shouldn't be a problem in 10m tho.
@@EleEnjoyer watched ahlundos gdkp run and the hunters ran entrapment. The adds we're ccd for a bit then moved slowly. So my idea was to precast EQ for some extra dps
@@vaagen3477 just watching him and he confirmed 25 man u can't root them unless it's normal. if you precast EQ it might be doing something but the damage is so mediocre unless you REALLY struggle on the AOE
I do not like the idea of parsing. This is just just a game. I would only worry about logs if you have a guildie who's always at the bottom.. and HELP them.

Parsing is one of the things alongside of speedrunning that add fun to a 15 year old game.
WoW classic is not the game for you. Parsing is literally why at least 1/2 the players are still raiding this game.
