In today's video I show you how to make really cool flipbook animation machine from cardboard. I'm a big fan of Simpsons so I chose Bart Simpson as animation model but you can use any animation you want (even draw one) :) Follow steps from this video and you will get amazing machine that will impress your kids, friends and everyone!

What happened between 2:39 and 3:39? Sorry, couldn't really understand what you did between these times.
So first you cut the photos in half,
Then move the top half one frame (picture) down,
Then tape it all together to form a mini flip book,
Then what happened? You took out another piece that hasn't been cut and glue it around a stick in half, and do this is for multiple frames (photos). What happened to the mini flip book and how does it relate to the uncut photo on a stick?
Many thanks if you could reply, or if anyone could answer. Planning to make this for a friend!

Nice video. Sadly there is a mistake shifting the top half of the pictures .... :-( You need to shift them one picture to the right instead to the left (2:41). Otherwise your animation will run backward. This is exactly what you show at around 2:55. You flip the images from bottom to top to get a forward running animation. But due to gravity they need to flip top to bottom in the end.
If I have 50 pages and I cut them in half should I move every 3 pages or take them all at once and move them?

I would never think of making something like this, how did you figure this out? It's too complex and genious to be a random idea.

It's really just a cardboard picture holder. My grandparents had a plastic one that looked like a little tv with a crank handle on the side. The problem with it was once more and more pictures gathered to the top it began to get top heavy. You had to kinda flip them back down like you were goin through a file cabinet. I don't know if it was broke or if he just seemed to have figured out a way to fix it.
