Scott can actually make some really good games that aren't Five Nights at Freddy's [Not saying FNAF was bad, but in terms of other video games]... I just really wished he would have made the sequel to this game, but there's still hope. On the note, it never said he was retiring as a game developer, just the FNAF franchise... So there's still a tiny light shining for the Desolate series to make a comeback and be revived eventually... And again, I'm not saying FNAF was bad... Hell, it made Scott get popular and I'm sure if he made a new Desolate game, then it would most likely gain alot of traction... I'm just saying that he can make some really damn good stuff... And to think that his games are made in Clickteam Fusion, one of the most dated looking and simplest game engines out there...
The Desolate series also has a lot of story potential compared to fnaf. Fnaf has a whole world of potential stories it can tell but The Desolate Hope has a whole universe for story potential. Plus Scott's a really big syfi fan, and a lot of people criticize Scott for making the fnaf story too syfi maybe it would be good for him to have another syfi series running alongside the fnaf games, so he can have a series where he can express his clear passion for syfi, and a series where he can express his passion for horror(also with syfi elements). I think having another series to run alongside fnaf would be interesting, and maybe that would be a good way for The Desolate series to get some much needed recognition.

I can’t tell if it’s some weird confirmation bias but I swear I saw the inspiration for Freddy and even the Puppet. Crazy stuff. Obv not saying it’s connected just that Scott’s mind was already laying the pieces for something like FNAF.
This is amazing! I believe what made early FNAF work so well was the retro-ish look of the engine. It looks so sharp. You pushed that thing to the limit Scott. Well done.

La mulana 2... heh he
Philip Clay another one rhymes with smother floor.
I hope your doing okay Scott, Just wanted to say that you never should've have this happen too you and I really hope you work up the courage to come back because we all miss you.
Scott really does need a reboot on the desolate hope, please make a reboot Scott the original game is awesome 😎
I personally think the original game is good how it is, but I would LOVE an official sequel or a spinoff
this game is actually good ngl
This game was always a masterpiece
This really reminds me of Donkey Kong Country and Killer Instinct.
Wow! It looks great! I feel like this game was made back in the day of 3d RPG like final fantasy 7 or something! It gives me that feel but also how awesome each robot looks. Great job Scott! I wanna be a game maker too!
This game is amazing! Scott did a really good job and I hope to see more games like this in the future!
The effects are somewhat similar from Madoka Magica witches. I like it. Feels trippin balls.
They both are probably used to give people that uncanny feeling. Really trippy, though.
Screw FnaF, I want to make a fan game of this. Too bad I don't know how to make that 90s magazine 3D render looking models.
I can’t tell if it’s some weird confirmation bias but I swear I saw the inspiration for Freddy and even the Puppet. Crazy stuff.
Obv not saying it’s connected just that Scott’s mind was already laying the pieces for something like FNAF.
twas a time so simple, before fnaf came,Scott made kid friendly entertainment games
This is amazing! I believe what made early FNAF work so well was the retro-ish look of the engine. It looks so sharp.
You pushed that thing to the limit Scott. Well done.
Well those days even though he didn't get any tension from his games but he still didn't stop trying and now he has one of the most popular games of all time which teaches us a lesson (NEAVER give up)
Desolate hope will always be one of my favorite Indie games.
I hope we can get a sequal to it or something.
Man, I still really want to play this game! I love FNAF, but this game looks AWESOME! Scott really put in a lot of effort into this. Props to him! :)
The art style and vibe in this game is pretty rad
You play as a laser shooting coffee machine 10/10
This game did very awesome for me. I love this, and I wish scott would make a sequel for this. But not the other sequel one.
Still holding out hope for a sequel, no matter how unlikely that is.
Man, by watching this trailer again, i summoned a tsunami of nostalgia
His designs are so badass like holy crap thos backgrounds!! The robots!!! I love his artstyle
God this is beautiful
Thank you scott
Scott is really creative and came very far through his journey
i love this, great job, scott.
#TheDesolateHopeRemaster
That music is bangin
I remember this game
I remember when chipper and sons was released
I remember....
WHEN THERE WEREN'T KIDS AND WEIRDOS WHO LOVE DRAWING WEIRD STUFF ON THE INTERNET FLOODING YOU WITH REQUESTS TO MAKE MORE FNAF
sorry just had to get that out
came cus of fnaf. got he's past games.
Personally I find it rude that everyone follows Scott because of that cringe fnaf without seeing his other games
I remember playing chipper and sons on my phone I loved it.
i hate fnaf , i guess this game is more better than fnaf >:(
@Emilio Masinton because u know , i mean , this game is really fun on my opinion , and its fantastic , and its more better than fnaf
Yes, this.
In short, this is how you know you have found a genius. Scott, you are incredibly talented. This and Freddy's, they are amazing. Haven't played any others of yours, not sure if there are any, but holy crap. You are an awesome developer. Just thought I'd put it out there.
