This is the only FNAF trailer that genuinely unnerved me. The bells, the terrifying music slowly building up, the in game character frantically checking around the house, the Nightmare Bonnie jumpscare and the title reveal at the end all come together to create a terrifying trailer that keeps you on the edge.
Doesn't help that the music track Scott used is literally named after the Devil. The music track with the bells is called "Lucifer" by Alex Khaskin, by the way.

I feel like FNaF 1 was the original, the one that came up with it. FNaF 2 was the one that successfully took the core gameplay and added to it. FNaF 3 was the one that took the core gameplay and turned it on it's head, creating a brand new game. FNaF 4 is literally just the first game with more doors, but there's one new thing.... You can turn around, ooooooo spooky. Sister location was the one that did it for me, especially Ballora and Funtime Freddy.

Fnaf 4 is the first game in the fnaf storyline because after michael ( the protagonist in the game) died after night 5 in the game, william ( michael's father) drank to much and murdered the 11 children and then the events of fnaf 1 took place.
I remember playing fnaf at night with my siblings while my parents were sleeping. It were moments like these that made me really happy. The only times that i would spend time with my siblings was always because of Fnaf and therefore I want to thank you Scott.
Best game and trailer by far. 100/10. I am so glad I was part of the fandom back when the games were released and I always have to come back and watch the trailers - Especially after the movie release. God i wish i could just re-live my younger self and play these games again for the first time (and watch Markiplier get jumpscared endlessly.

First , it doesn't feel like a FNAF game. It just isn't the same. It just feels weird and unnatural. It is like I am playing FNAF from a different unniverse. It doesn't have the same atmosphere and all of the elements that make FNAF... well , FNAF. And then there's my second reason. For me , FNAF ended at Ultimate Custom Night. Henry got peace , Michael finally escaped the suffering that is 'living' for him and he has done it helping out Henry to achieve the greatest plan ever made , the spirits of the children except Cassidy went to Haven , Willam went to Hell where he is tormented by one of his victims , which leads us to Cassidy/The Vengeful Spirit/The One You should Not Have Killed , who finally got what she wanted and that is bringing pain to her killer. Now she can torture him in Hell for the rest of times , and William got what he deserved. This is the perfect ending. Everyone got what they deserved wether it was something good or something bad. This is where FNAF should have ended. Sure , I could see Fazbear Entertainment trying to save the franchise by delivering animatronics to your house , but that wouldn't have a huge plot relevance. But no. Of course William has gotta come back , even after Henry's epic speech. Of course he has to be the villain again. How did he come back now ? Oh yeah , he is A COMPUTER VIRUS. Oh , what did you say ? Oh he is also NOT REALLY AFTON , BUT PART OF HIS CONSCIOUSNESS AND A REPRESENTATION OF THE EVIL INSIDE HIM ? Cut the bullshit man , FNAF has a lot of fantastical and supernatural elements to it , it has a shit ton of weird stuff , but this is too much for even FNAF. Oh and wouldn't you know , now we also have a time travelling ball pit. I know that the books aren't canon , but you gus don't know is that they are _not completely canon._ What I mean by that is that is that they confirm a few things and clear a few things up. Like the fact that the murders happened in 1985. Or that it was confirmed that there was another building that we didn't see in any of the FNAF games. So , some elements from the books are canon. Which means that the books are kinda canon. Way to go. Time travelling ball pits and goo that steals your organs and becomes you. Like seriously , the plot at this point is just being milked. And then you might say , "yeah , but we've got a new villain. Vanny". Oh really ? Then how come we only see her 2-3 times in Security Breach ? Or how do you explain the fact that we've been more impacted by William's return in Security Breach. How come William has more plot relevance than Vanny even though he appears even less than her ? How come now we've got the focus on William again and now we are making memes about how he is ancient now and how we might aswell just call him "Pee Paw Afton" ? How come we now make animatics about William taking his pills ? See ? So we didn't even get a new villain. Just good old Afton. In Help Wanted he was a glitch and now he has reanimated his own corpse and lives inside his trashed Springtrap suit which we now call Burntrap. Actually , think about it this way. How many "traps" have we got. Well , I am going to start with Springbonnie. He counts. Then we've got Springtrap. Then we've got Scraptrap. Then we've got Glitchtrap. And now we have Burntrap. Do you see how milked William is ? How milked the plot and the lore is ? This is why I hate Help Wanted. It greatly milked the lore. Ultimate Custom Night should have been the end.

Like the last comment yes it’s becuase Scott has nightmares about this specific bunny character so he’s always first to be seen..when he’s in the game because the Funtime bonnie he drew he did not like so that’s where Bon Bon came from! My favorite FNaF by far. I don't get why people hate it that much. It's incredible!!! It's scary, haves good mechanics (I love the fact that they are inspired on common fears of the kids or Bite Victim himself, like the monster in the closet), the jumpscares, the lore, the Bite, EVERYTHING!!!
I wish he had made an option to play if you're deaf or hard of hearing. People are still asking for that to this day. There could just be faint visual cues, like an outline of someone in the hall, rather than the faint audio cues. It would still create tension because the person would have to really focus and squint so the jumpscares would catch people by surprise.
Tbh they were a bit overdone, but thematically it makes sense for them to look the way they do. They fit the game very well knowing the context but they would probably look really out of place in any other games
They felt too tryhard imo. The freddles was a nice touch. I think the only one i found slightly threatening was Nightmare. He's the only character who benefitted from the absurdity of the designs.

I remember bouncing off the ceiling at the mention of FNAF, and whenever FNAF 3 came out, I jumped to the literal moon without a space suit. And I somehow didn’t suffocate, freeze, and burn as I quickly ascended to it. I remember calling Springtrap Salvage with 100s of other people. Those were fun times!

I finally came back to Italy. I’m the guy who said I was from Italy. I came back from Italy because I think I got over the trauma that just happened like one year ago, but FNF is one of the scariest games. I played this on Halloween time, and this might be one of my scariest experience of my life, nightmare, and the fuddles were one of the scariest part of the game as well as the nightmares, Fred bear and Marinette I was eating some Burger King until plush trap. Scared me and I fold my whopper right at the screen took me a while to clean up, but I successfully clean up my computer. We have finished the whole game, but I could not want to sleep at night because the Fred really scared me even nightmare Freddy Nightmare, Fred the blanket and I was scared so much out of my life, I checked the door and luckily there was nobody there except a cat

I love FNaF 4, it's by far my most favorite game. It gives me this, isolated vibe where youre just a lonely child terrified with the realisticness of life, and these horrible terrible nightmares are haunting you every night that your father made in order to keep you away from the dangers of his own work. That summary really shows how dark things were back in 1983. Especially for the crying child. In my opinion, he is way underrated. Only exists in 1 game, doesnt exist at all in the books, and doesn't get talked about much! But thanks for reading.

This game is by far the scariest out of all the other ones. It plays on an internal fear of not knowing what is in the dark, fearing that something might strike at any moment or the moment you turn on the light. It also plays with another internal fear which is hearing. You're forced to listen so very closely for any dangers that might be lurking before suddenly you get your ears blasted by fear. When it comes to horror, the fear of not seeing anything in the dark, only hearing the creepy things is what scares me the most, like Minecraft cave noises.

It doesn't have the same atmosphere and all of the elements that make FNAF... well , FNAF. And then there's my second reason. For me , FNAF ended at Ultimate Custom Night. Henry got peace , Michael finally escaped the suffering that is 'living' for him and he has done it helping out Henry to achieve the greatest plan ever made , the spirits of the children except Cassidy went to Haven , Willam went to Hell where he is tormented by one of his victims , which leads us to Cassidy/The Vengeful Spirit/The One You should Not Have Killed , who finally got what she wanted and that is bringing pain to her killer. Now she can torture him in Hell for the rest of times , and William got what he deserved. This is the perfect ending. Everyone got what they deserved wether it was something good or something bad. This is where FNAF should have ended. Sure , I could see Fazbear Entertainment trying to save the franchise by delivering animatronics to your house , but that wouldn't have a huge plot relevance. But no. Of course William has gotta come back , even after Henry's epic speech. Of course he has to be the villain again. How did he come back now ? Oh yeah , he is A COMPUTER VIRUS. Oh , what did you say ? Oh he is also NOT REALLY AFTON , BUT PART OF HIS CONSCIOUSNESS AND A REPRESENTATION OF THE EVIL INSIDE HIM ? Cut the bullshit man , FNAF has a lot of fantastical and supernatural elements to it , it has a shit ton of weird stuff , but this is too much for even FNAF. Oh and wouldn't you know , now we also have a time travelling ball pit. I know that the books aren't canon , but you gus don't know is that they are _not completely canon._ What I mean by that is that is that they confirm a few things and clear a few things up. Like the fact that the murders happened in 1985. Or that it was confirmed that there was another building that we didn't see in any of the FNAF games. So , some elements from the books are canon. Which means that the books are kinda canon. Way to go. Time travelling ball pits and goo that steals your organs and becomes you. Like seriously , the plot at this point is just being milked. And then you might say , "yeah , but we've got a new villain. Vanny". Oh really ? Then how come we only see her 2-3 times in Security Breach ? Or how do you explain the fact that we've been more impacted by William's return in Security Breach. How come William has more plot relevance than Vanny even though he appears even less than her ? How come now we've got the focus on William again and now we are making memes about how he is ancient now and how we might aswell just call him "Pee Paw Afton" ? How come we now make animatics about William taking his pills ? See ? So we didn't even get a new villain. Just good old Afton. In Help Wanted he was a glitch and now he has reanimated his own corpse and lives inside his trashed Springtrap suit which we now call Burntrap. Actually , think about it this way. How many "traps" have we got. Well , I am going to start with Springbonnie. He counts. Then we've got Springtrap. Then we've got Scraptrap. Then we've got Glitchtrap. And now we have Burntrap. Do you see how milked William is ? How milked the plot and the lore is ? This is why I hate Help Wanted. It greatly milked the lore. Ultimate Custom Night should have been the end.

My favorite FNaF by far. I don't get why people hate it that much. It's incredible!!! It's scary, haves good mechanics (I love the fact that they are inspired on common fears of the kids or Bite Victim himself, like the monster in the closet), the jumpscares, the lore, the Bite, EVERYTHING!!!

I wish he had made an option to play if you're deaf or hard of hearing. People are still asking for that to this day.
There could just be faint visual cues, like an outline of someone in the hall, rather than the faint audio cues.
It would still create tension because the person would have to really focus and squint so the jumpscares would catch people by surprise.

It's hard to belive it's been almost 10 years since FNaF 1 was released..
This game of the franchise had the most terrifying designs for the animatronics easily
Tbh they were a bit overdone, but thematically it makes sense for them to look the way they do. They fit the game very well knowing the context but they would probably look really out of place in any other games
I agree, the only fnaf that had designs like that ones is fnaf 6
They were intentionally overdone to show that it takes place inside the nightmares of a child
They felt too tryhard imo. The freddles was a nice touch.
I think the only one i found slightly threatening was Nightmare. He's the only character who benefitted from the absurdity of the designs.

And I somehow didn’t suffocate, freeze, and burn as I quickly ascended to it. I remember calling Springtrap Salvage with 100s of other people. Those were fun times!

I finally came back to Italy. I’m the guy who said I was from Italy. I came back from Italy because I think I got over the trauma that just happened like one year ago, but FNF is one of the scariest games. I played this on Halloween time, and this might be one of my scariest experience of my life, nightmare, and the fuddles were one of the scariest part of the game as well as the nightmares, Fred bear and Marinette I was eating some Burger King until plush trap. Scared me and I fold my whopper right at the screen took me a while to clean up, but I successfully clean up my computer. We have finished the whole game, but I could not want to sleep at night because the Fred really scared me even nightmare Freddy Nightmare, Fred the blanket and I was scared so much out of my life, I checked the door and luckily there was nobody there except a cat

I love FNaF 4, it's by far my most favorite game.
It gives me this, isolated vibe where youre just a lonely child terrified with the realisticness of life, and these horrible terrible nightmares are haunting you every night that your father made in order to keep you away from the dangers of his own work.
That summary really shows how dark things were back in 1983. Especially for the crying child. In my opinion, he is way underrated. Only exists in 1 game, doesnt exist at all in the books, and doesn't get talked about much! But thanks for reading.

This game is by far the scariest out of all the other ones. It plays on an internal fear of not knowing what is in the dark, fearing that something might strike at any moment or the moment you turn on the light.
It also plays with another internal fear which is hearing. You're forced to listen so very closely for any dangers that might be lurking before suddenly you get your ears blasted by fear.
When it comes to horror, the fear of not seeing anything in the dark, only hearing the creepy things is what scares me the most, like Minecraft cave noises.
