Thanks for this edit of the full Extended scene! I think a lot of the stuff they cut was for the best, that 'lil tramps ass' line was when Lebay was possessing Arnie and it feels out of nowhere in context here. Genuinely feel like the cuts made this film stronger in many ways.
@@sean.furlong1989 Incorrect. As I said, it's a book reference. The 'Little Tramp' is referring to the movie made by Charlie Chaplin, and was Roland Lebay's nickname for Hitler. In the book, Lebay is possessing Arnie, taking him over, so Arnie starts to copy Lebay's mannerisms, saying, etc, like that saying and the use of the word 'shitter'. But here, there's no lead-up to that. It's a random disjointed line plucked from the book that loses any meaning here, so it's a good thing it was cut.
@@thequietestengine It has been a very long time since I read the book and I have been watching other deleted scenes, I saw the once where Arnie caught Leigh and Dennis kissing and that is why I thought the comment was aimed at her.
@@sean.furlong1989 That scene takes place after the New Year's drive, actually! ^^ The idea is Dennis and Arnie celebrate New Year together, Dennis and Leigh kiss, Arnie sees it and tries to hit Dennis with Christine, then it leads in to him being behind the wheel trying to kill them both. By that point Arnie is too far gone and feels betrayed by everyone. I think the only deleted scene I wish had been kept in was Arnie breaking into tears after returning home the night he buys Christine. The rest didnt really add much and dated the movie a bit
This is one of the most powerful scenes ever. Denis thought that Arnie was talking about his girlfriend Lee. But he was talking about his vehicle. You can have love for anything. You can have love for your career. You can have love for your spirit. You can continue to feed it. Anyone who's ever loved anything should be able to understand this.
In comparison to the book the movie is terrible once u read the book I guarantee you will hate this movie they left out so much and certain things that happen later in the story happen first thing like in the beginning with buddy and the lunch bag in the book that happens after Arnie gets Christine
@@travslumuis6388the movie's not terrible the book is all over the place and I like them both but I prefer Christine being evil on her own then being possessed by a ghost

The "lil tramp's ass" line was referring to Leigh.

@@thequietestengine I guess I watched the scenes out of order.

Not when that love is pretty much possession and insanity lol. I get what you’re saying but this ain’t the movie to compare love with.
Good film.
Christine was a beautiful car.
Some of the deleted scenes should’ve been kept. It would have made the Movie 10x better in my opinion.
