i,ve ran cats,518s&528s,john deeres,648 fix booms&swing booms,timber jacks,?who knows what else,i started running the 668 this summer,theses suckers are beasts,always thought they were hamorphadites because of the steering.but once you get use to that these suckers got in to places i would,nt take any other skidder and pull out with logs behind me,this one has 7.2 cummings and still havent given her everything.love it
My husband drives one of these when he isnt fallin. Some Clarkes take a little gettin used to climbin up into I hear lol. and he is a hard hard worker. He says he likes this one the best. He says the older the better ( naturally :)
Logger I worked for ran a bunch of F667 Rangers and a later model Valmet 67. All had 30.5 32's some were single arch some dual arch. They were tough reliable skidders that outperformed 450 Timberjacks and 748 Deeres of the same vintage.
Hi I own a 668dgr which looks exactly the same as this one .Mine has a 240 hp, 8.3 c cummins,3 speed trans it goes really good . We also run 2 KMC 2500 grapple skidders , Komatsu d85-18 grapple , timberjack 26/28 ,Timbco 445B , Timberajck 950 with a warahta 624 & 2 Komatsu pc300s ,kenworth k100 log truck & a Pacific p510 .And logging in NZ at the moment is a prick Havent worked for four months
Great machines especially the ones with the 555 (triple nickel)Cummins in the i used to operate them and have never met annother skidder that pull as much lol even the 635 or 632 tigercat
It is interesting to read your comments that you have left on other channels. It takes away a lot of your integrity and credibility. While I am sure you are very happy with your equipment that you own, it sure does not help your personality that you have created for yourself on here. Ron.....This skidder is twice the skidder compared to the 748. The 848 isn't even as capable. I know JD heads hate to think they aren't running the greatest. The horsepower of the F68, weight, rim pull, as well as fuel efficiency are all greater than any John Deere skidder ever made. I own one of these and have owned nearly every kind of skidder there was.
I own an F68 like this one and I have run 630 Tigercats. The Clark is twice as fast and is much easier to work on. it also is easier on fuel and doesn't go through engines like Tigercats do. Forget about pricing! I will never buy a Tigercat skidder.

she were a heckuva skidder at the time... did pretty much anything and everything the big 748 Deere could do...
Man I miss mine! I had one for 10 years. It is a CAT 545 size except even MORE horsepower. Greatest log skidder ever built.

We work with one f67 and h67 they are very good machines
jump into a Tigercat. Makes this Clark look like my old Timberjack 404.

the wheel guards are one of the bonuses you can pick

them 668s are beasts, wish I had one instead of my JD640, but price was right at the time
