    Absolute classic singing from Waylon, he is my favourite American Country music singer of all times, no one shall ever be able to compete against him not in our era anyhow and taken away from us all far to early in his short life, from Jessie and Shooter, life is so very sad for some people like Waylon. RIP FOREVER. ELIZABETH in💌💌💌💌 SCOTLAND ❣❣❣❣

      I think being able to publicly (but anonymously, of course) disrespect a much loved entertainer like Waylon Jennings makes some people feel smugly powerful. That's my guess, anyway!🤗
      As for me, I unabashedly adore the man's music, and he's pretty easy on the eyes, too!

    This'll sound like sacrilege, but to be honest I preferred this young steel player's style and tone more than the "Moon's". Just preference I guess.

    • @zachill
      @zachill Год назад +4

      You can say whatever you want but this is the most damn basic steel picking ever, sounds the damn same as all other 90’s steel, nothing original about it
      There’s a reason Waylon said “There’s only one steel player in the world and his name is Ralph Mooney”. His words were right & still is right 20 years after his passing & 11 years after Moon’s passing.

    • @thewatchman6074
      @thewatchman6074 Год назад +1

      @@zachill Well, that's the strange thing about music Zac, it's all subjective, and each person hears something different in a song, and every single musician brings something new to the table. He might sound like every other steel player to the untrained ear, but when you've spent the last 40 years as a country band band leader, and auditioned, and played with dozens of steel players over the years, (as I did) then I can tell you unequivocally that this kid has his own style and sound, and some of those licks are quite innovative, but like I said, it's all subjective.
