  • Hello! I was out of town for a couple of weeks, so this video is a little late. But I thought I would go ahead and give y'all a breakdown of the experience I had with this month's pens and inks! There were definitely some troublesome (dry) inks this month, and a couple of pens that were temperamental. But my Edison came out on top for the best writing experience.
Thanks for watching! I'm not affiliated with any brands or companies mentioned in this video, and all opinions are my own :)

Great video! That's an excellent idea to grade the pens and how the inks perform in them. I will try to do this in future - be a bit more systematic in my assessments!
I agree with you about the Jinhao and Benu pens - both have impressed me a lot since buying them. I haven't tried Edison yet.
Thanks for the rating of the inks too. I tend to have mostly Diamine which works quite well in most cases.

I just discovered your channel and I feel our tastes may overlap quite a bit. Edison pens are my favorite with BENU running close behind. I have kind of a crazy number of both (including the Edison Blue Nebula). I'm looking forward to future unboxing videos. Best wishes. ✒️🤗

Thank you! Yea, I love both of those pen companies so far. Really quality work, good smooth writers, and lots of variety and designs to choose from. I'm really excited to see Edison's offerings at the upcoming Ohio Pen Show and maybe pick up my 2nd Edison!

I have decided that both FWP and Robert Oster are only going in my Benus and Pelikans. Those pens are gushers, so it actually works! I think my first Bock nib might be another contender.
